Mr. Dilip V. is doing good job as a selector. He has contributed something worthwhile. But these BCCI official for absolutely no contribution are always shouting at the top of their voice. They should be publicly hanged from lamp posts, then only Indian cricket team will be able to No 1 team in the world.

Mr Sitaram u r 100% right. We must hang BCCI official. As a selector he able to bring 20/20 World cup. That we should not forget. Still he is being contributing something good which whole India is looking. Roy Pintu
Does Mr. Sharad Pawar & Mr. Rajiv Shukla Have any knowledge of Cricket ??? What they knows is cricket is played with bat & ball and Polititians can make MONEY from that. Mr. Dilip Vengasarkar is KNOWLWDGEBAL person of cricket, and if he does not write & do you expect Mr. Pawar & Mr.Shukla to write ??? Because these people are illiterate of cricket , they get joulus & they wanted to show that they are BOSS and Mr, Vengsarkar is NO ONE.
IF THEY WANT INDIAN CRICKET TO COME UP POLITICIAN can be dummy President & other Post and allow Criketier like KAPIL, AJIT WADEKAR, SUNIL GAVASKAR & DILIP VENGASARKAR TO RUN THE CRICKET IN INDIA
BCCI may be right in barring selectors to write columns.Hence Colonel should agree. Colonel is not committing offense by sitting in Indian dressing room.Board should feel honored in having him in the dressing room.Or if money is a big issue with BCCI then Vengy has earned enough money to near expenses.
Personally ,in the land of GITA,it is surprising that big guns suffer from small small egos.
Why only Dilip >> this way SARAD PAWAR and his team also should be out from BCCI as they are also heading the chair in many organisation ..Politics , govt , other clubs and organisation..they all must be ckicked out
Good chance to get rid of Veng and bring in a no nonsense cricketer as chief selector.Also the regional system of selectors shd go.This has led to nepotism and favouritism in the past. Veng may have been a good batsman,but his strategic thinking and leadership are lacking.He also has a king sized ego getting into details. While the dispute itself is petty,Veng who has divided Indian cricket shd go.

Mr. Ray u must aware that BCCI only expect selectors to watch all cricket matches and select the TEAM INDIA. Vengsarkar is only selector who has taken pain to go on tour with indian team and give them support. Mr. Vengsarkar has tour world and he don't need to go on tour just for fun like BCCI President and secretary, who tour for no reason.

Pintu Roy-why don't you talk cricket rather than be abusive.I don't expect anything else from Borkar.The issue is the team shd be a happy bunch.Veng has divided it too much.He is regional in approach as is well known.And he had no business taking over the role of captain.What he did was wrong.That is cricket and not kar.

Vengsarkar acts like a hitler, putting too much pressure on all the players. I have seen the worst days of vengsarkar when he literally cried in front of media when he lost the match against the west indies. Sack vengsarkar.

When Vengsarkar cried when Not He but INDIA lost the match. It show he is ppssonate person and not like others who go and celebrate after India loose.

Cricketers like Srinath, Tendulkar, Ganguly, Manjrekar, Kumble, Robin Singh etc., came into the Indian side when GR. Vishwanath was the selection committe chairman. They turned out to be class players.

Good point,but its well known fact that the Northies and Mumbaitees are more zonally biased than Southies and its inevitable that the favoritism is going to be more when they are at the helm,im sure there maybe exceptions but Vengsarkar isnt one of them...Its a curse to our system...

U R wrong. It is selection committee who has selected Kumbale as Captain. How do you say it is biased against South indians? Just because they sent out-of-form Dravid out, does not mean they are biased. Every out-of-form player needs to be removed.
