RE:R Bhatia should be selected for the India Squad

Who is this Bhatia????? Even gully players from mumbai score better than this bhatia. so does it mean that an odd success should be a base for a claim in ODI. I wonder why Sehwag was given a chance even when Badrinath had a strong claim. So stop this rubbish of regional politics and just play cricket.

chup meena bunder! Mumbai does not play politics it's delhi people who play dirty politics!!
As an Indian Team Fan One Should Feel that This Team is Better than Pakistan and Should Win the Series, But Frankly Speaking Pakistan Look More Confident Than India.
The Problem Lies WIth The Selection of Indian Team, The Thinking Behind Selection of 5 Opener's is Baffling, How Will Batsman Like Sehwag Bat in Middle Order, And Now He Has Lost His Father, So Can he focus on the Game.
The Biggest Problem is With Dilip Vengserkar, He Said There are No Talented Youngster's in India, That Means Can Expect Sachin, Ajit Agarkar and Zaheer Khan to Play for Another 3 Years.

vengsarkar is a liar --what do you expect of a man who lost his captaincy and place in india team for breach of conduct code--by writing in a column. He has a personal vendetta against dravid plus his agenda of ensuring permanent position for Tendulkar in both forms of the game by hook or by crook--shame on him.
Rahul Dravid & Saurav Ganguly are passionate cricketers. Both these players are great ambassadors of the sport. They are selfless cricketers who unfortunately have never been appreciated for their involvement in team India. The reason being is that they have had to play in the dark shadow of a selfish player like Sachin Tebdulkar, who obviously plays for himself rather than the team. Why don't the selectors have the courage to drop him if he does not play well. Saurav & Rahul always have to bear the brunt. Seriously our selectors are nuts as they dont have the guts to drop a selfish player like Sachin. He should be 1st dropped & not Sourav or Rahul.

Yeh desh mera bhi utna hi hai jitna ke tera. Yeh desh tere baap ka kharida hua nahi hai. Agar tumhara pasina gira hai tho hamara bhi khoon gira hai. Phir kabhi yeh mat bolna kisi Indian muslim ko. Tujhe hamari taaqat ka andaza bhi nahi hai.

Hey Mudassar. You seriously need a major overhauling of your brain. U can never prove that Sachin is a selfish cricketer. He would never have come back immediately after his father's death to play the worldcup match against Kenya if he was selfish. He would never have played that great knock of 136 against Pakistan even when had a back pain if he was selfish. He would never have scored 132 and 143 against Australia in the Sharjah cup under such trying circumstances if he was selfish. The list goes on. You, anyways, do not have the grey matter to understand these things.

Ganguly & Dravid are greats !! BUT... SACHIN IS born Genius & Greatest !!! Just 3 instances cant forget : Last over of Hero cup Semi-final (NO D&C in Team) & 75 balls 98 in WC Vs Pak in 2003. Winning of Titan Cup as a Captain against S.A.in 1997. It takes high moral values & integrity to be down to earth like Sachin. Gilly /Haydon/Waugh are 37/36/38 still played becoz they r the BEST .that is why Big 3 should play Vs Big teams . Arey Mudassar Kuch to Sharam Kar...

Tendulkar's average during the World Cup = 32.

DON'T TELL SUCH WORDS TO THE GREAT LITTLE MASTER SACHIN WHO HAS PLAYED FOR THE COUNTRY FOR 18 YEARS . ITS REALLY A LONG JOURNEY , YOU CANNOT BE A PART OF THE TEAM UNLESS YOU ARE CONSISTENT. TO BE CONSISTENT FOR 18 YEARS ITSELF TELLS THE STORY . WHEN YOU HAVE GUY PLAYED FOR INDIA FOR SUCH A LONG PERIOD OF TIME THEN HE IS BOUND TO HAVE A NUMBER OF RECORDS AUTOMATICALLY . HE FULLY DESERVE TO HAVE THESE RECORDS UNDER HIS BELT. THERE IS NO NEED FOR SACHIN TO BE AFTER RECORDS. WHEN HE PLAYS WELL RECORDS ITSELF KNOCKS SACHIN'S DOOR . DO YOU THE PERCENTAGE WHICH INDIA WINS WHEN SACHIN PLAYS WELL. TEAM INDIA WIN 60% OF THE MATCHES WHEN SACHIN SCORES.

I agree- Amit should have had a porlonged run in the Indian team.
Seamers have always had to struggle to ge to the Indian team somehow. I remember we had a great bolwer in Ashish Winston Zaidi (he played for UP and India under 19). He played Pakistan in the same series as Waqar Younis, and performed equally well for India, as waqar did for Pakistan. Unfortunately, Zaidi never got a chance to play for India and dwindled in the shadows.
Hope that Amit does not go the same way and has his rightful place in the team in the near future.
Sachin should now retire peacefully. Atleast from one day internationals. Its time we look at the future. There are many aspirants like Gambhir, Uthappa, Sehwag, Yusuf Pathan, Dinesh Karthick, etc. High time for Sachin to say goodbye to cricket. Atleast India will win more matches after he retires. Sachin plays for himself rather than the Team India.

Yes. Not only sachin but Ganguly should also retire. It is seen that these senior player get endless chance and they proove once a while. Remember that young Dinesh karthick and Rohit sharma got only once chance and thereafter these young player are out of team.

Dear friends,
I dont have any doubt that he is master blaster, those days when sachin come for bat, we always thing that india will win the match (like against australia in Sharjah, etc etc), we cannot forget those matches, and we will never see such matches. but now becoz of his age, he is not playing upto his potential. every has to retire one day, but Sachin has to decide when he is going to retire or let him play only test cricket. now you can see a lot of young talent crickers are therir like Uthappa , Gambhir , Yousuf Pathan , Dinesh Karthick, Piyush Chawla etc. he has to sideline for this young cricketers. i hope most of the people will agree with my view.

well said ashraf bhai i agree with you and now it is a time not only for sachin but for other two masters of cricket saurov and rahul these are real gems of cricket and i guess no one in india will disagree with this but there is a time when one has to really take good decission for their oun pride and it is a time for these 3 masters to retire with pride and honour so that emerging talent like yousuf, rohit, gambhir, uttapha, dinesh will get sufficient chances to prove thier talent

I guess you are going totally wrong.. just look at past 15 One Day games performance from Sachin , what a classic game he is playing currently... and you are saying to take retirement... because of this Lag Pulling habbits in India indians are laggin.. just grow up man... and change your view

Caliber? No no. Caliber is no longer being sold. Pulsar, xCD are the latest bikes from Bajaj
politics is the only reason y still gambhir is in cricket (both indian team and delhi team), y the delhi selectors still wanna go with gr8 hitter master blaster akash chopra

Akash Chopra is not a blaster but a dour accumulator of runs. He was given chances but did not click and was dumped. Your memory seems to be short.
Saurav ganguly apears to be wearing some sort of a charm. Whoever is tipped to take his place (Sahwag, Gambhir etc.) gets into a failure mode. The selectors have been repeatedly complelled to bring him back after trying alternatives. May be gods are trying to compensate a wronged icon. Do you agree guys?
