First let us solve the kashmir issue in the North and North East and then we will see the south. Let them fight and win or loose. There are political parties in Tamil Nadu are surviving because of this issue as pakistan politicians are surviving of kashmir issue. To ask for a help, a country should be diplomatic. But Srilankans, from day one are abusing and accusing India, now Norway. It is their trick and covert attempt to blackmail india for including Pakistan and china in the conflict. India is seeing pak and china and taking them head on in their respective boundary. Srilankans should stop blackmailing and start understanding the reality. After all, they beg with big bowl in the name of making peace from the donors and buy arms using the same begging money to wipe out tamils from Srilanka.

Hi every body, i am quite sorry about myself (since I don't know the facts), I mean whatz the main prob with LTTE, if they are tamilians, then why not they live happily in Tamil Nadu, y did they go to SL, and fight there? I mean u can't go to other country and say that its ur country. I'll be extremely happy if some one can show me the truths and actual facts behind this. Thanx in advance.........

As a superpower in this region, India should play a better role in this whole LTTE issue.. We all know that Tamils are oppressed there for ages... Until now our role in this issue is bad.. first we armed LTTE and then we send in IPKF to disarm them... and in the bargain got big bamboo in the back side... Either side in srilanka don't trust us... We should put more pressure on srilankan government and get rights for tamils... Also we have to solve Kashmir issue in a manner which shows the character of India...
This is yet another Government of Srilanka ploy to tell the people of Srilanka that the cricket team got stranded because of LTTE attacks. This is to gain cheap publicity in the name sport against LTTE. Why can't government arrange a chartered flight for the cricket team to arrive at colombo? This is farce and comic. This is just to internationalize the conflict in the name of cricket. The GoSL stood stop such dirty tricks and analyse how to solve the problem acceptable to all people. Instead a responsible government cannot play dirty tricks like this.
Srilankan tamils are very nice and kind ppl.more intelligent and caring,all most 70 to 80 % of Tamils has already left the country. Very few is left and Srilankan Gvt is not able to fight even that 20% intelligent warriors. The only diffrence between Srilankan Gvt troops and left out 20% intelligent tamil warriors is these ppl are not afraid of their life whereas the Gvt troops works for just money. Srilankan Gvt should understand this and soon settle down issue.I think the only solution is live them alone.
Before commenting on this issue one must remember that IPKF was betrayed by the Sri Lankan government which implies that they are not ready to give any kind of equal rigts kind of thing because giving equal rights to a superior race means kind of suicide note.I think Sri lankan Prime Minister is much aware of this fact than those of blogging peace poems.
Its in 2005,I was abt to board Lufthansa from Frankfurt. One passport officer was a srilankan (tamil specifically). From my appearance he knew that Im indian, then he was happy and in the litte chat, he said the following:

Dear Smruti, The tamils who support tamils cause is not a terrorist. It is state sponsored terrorism happening in SL. Please understand that. GoSL is groping in the darkness for a solution that it kept rad hot for 60 years (guiness record in making). They gave all empty promises and tried to wipe out the tamil race from srilanka who were asking just solution and power devolution. They were brutally attacked and murdered by the chavaunists. If GoSL win the war on terror, then the tamils there will be forced to live under second graded citizens in their own motherland and solution will be thrusted upon. Tamils will have no other options.
That is why the moderate tamils are forced to support the terrorist LTTE. This is success of the GoSL so far. All are not terrorist smruti. They have no option other than support them. If you can't pity them, do not abuse them.

They only know Rajiv Gandhi was assasinated....It is like If my neighbour puts his foot inside my house for unnessary reasons I will take strict action depending on my strength to throw him out from my home.... thats all LTTE did...
