Ganguly should be careful not to get into these traps laid out with the sweet tooth. The opposing teams are smart to know our weaknesses. A good word about Ganguly is boud to demoralize the other members and also disturb the dressing room atmosphere. Better be careful - we need a strong mind set and temparament to counter these practices.

if its a truth then no matter who and when someone tells the same, like in this case. Ganguly deserves even more acceptance, but out cricket bosses are busy with politicizing cricket.

all part of mind games. why you get agitated. Our coach/manger should talk not we or any tom, dick or harry. not even ganguly bashers.
he made it sure that India makes an early exit in the world cup, he knew that India under Ganguly's leadership is the only threat to Aussies. And also he realised a lot of Indians will help his cause.......

What Arthur has said is true and accepted by everyone. This is not a new revelation. The BCCI thinktank which also includes the great Ravi Shastri also relalises it and knows about it. The only thing is that they do not want to accept it in public. If they do so then it would be a slap on their face. THey are getting slapped regularly no doubt about it but their gumpshun is so thick that they only relaise after a long long time. Its like the story of a rhino getting tickled and it laughed after 1 year.The BCCI requires a yes man and Rahul fits in to that slot suitably. They know if Ganguly is made the captain and he is a regular in the Indian Side then the players will not listen to BCCI tantrumps.More over he was the only captain who gave Ravi Shastri and Raj Singh fitting reply . The BCCI is afraid of Ganguly lets accept that.
Rajiv Shuklas and other are people who should not be mentioned of they only want to be in the limelight with the help of BCCI. The least said about them the better it is.
Lastly every thing is possible in Indian Cricket. Lala was dropped, Mohinder was dropped and Srikant after his successful tour of Pakistan as Captain was also dropped. In the last two cases the great Raj Singh was the mastermind.The persons feudalistic attidue has costs Indian Cricket a lot. Even when he made Azhar the captain he said " miya captain banogey..." as if captaining Indian team and making captain wwas in his hand. This is how Indian Cricket operates. Jayanta

Mr. "u.a"...be non critical and lets enjoy the match...both the openers are on the crease...an average of 42 in 290 matches with 10000 runs...was obviously not a reason to let Ganguly out for 15 months...Sourav is anyways back and batting on the crease against SA...plz may request ... to enjoy!
dada was the one hoo always says before an away series dat we will surely win and the result would at the minimum be a drawn series..whereas drabs always say we will play good cricket, gain experience and lay platform bla bla bla and then we at the maximum lose the series...bring back dada again at the helm...unless drabs is aggressive on and off teh field, the team cannot play attacking cricke...

YES GANGULY SHOULD BE BROUGHT AS CAPTAIN IN INDIA TEAM..... TEAM UNDER RAHUL IS WEAK IN TEMPERAMENT AND DOES NOT GEL AS A TEAM.....GANGULY IS THE BEST OF THE LOT FOR THE INDIAN CRICKET, THE STATISTICS PROVE ALL BEYOND DOUBT...BCCI IS A POLITICAL BODY RUN BY POLITICIANS NOW WHO DO NOT UNDERSTAND GAME....KIRAN MORE SHOULD BE ASKED TO COME CLEAN ON HIS ACTIONS..HE NEVER PLAYED WELL AND HE WAS IN THE BCCI...THERE ARE MANY SUCH PLAYERS WHO GIVE GYAN THESE DAYS AS IF THEY WERE MASTERS IN THE GAME BUT SHAME TO THOSE WHO FAKE IT NOW.......
When Ganguly was dropped, that time his performance was really at the bottom, i agree. and from this viewpoint i support his dropping. but this is a game and players are playing for india, not for gujarat or bengal or maharashtra, don't forget. you have to keep doors open even for a non-performer if he performs again..chappel, kiran more and many other indians showed their claws and teeth that time to devour ganguly, that is painful. be a sportsman, sack a player if he can not perform, but you have no right to show wild vengeance and destroy somebody's career, fame, peace and emotion of his fans..this is objectionable..and exactly that's what these chappel, kiran and some othes did..
