Dear Freind Sachin is a good player of past but he should decide when to stop playing. like Gavaskar Or other great palyers did. at the moment he just playing for money & also depriving young player to establish the place in the team. Once again i will tell you that Sachin was a great player but Today he is not.Please tell me what Mr. Greig Chapple wanted ? He wanted india to play like Aussies. is that wrong ? Senior players forming a group & doing whatever they want & our Board doesn't have guts to take action against Senior players,Instead of sacking players they sacked the coach.The same thing will happen To Mr. Ford.

Dont compare Gavaskar with sachin....sachin is the greatest ever while Gavaskar is pathetic player and a person...Gavaskar is a flop...scored 36 runs in 60 overs...he is a shame on Mumbai

Why cant BCCI understand that our team is not that good......after we lose another series aor two then even Ford will be sacked but the same team will continue to play....this is Indian cricket

You hit the nail on the head....Well said. The players just a coach for name sake. They are worried about their places in the team if they get another tough coach....so they have ensured they get someone who wouldnt make their places insecure & wouldn't object to their spending more time on ads than on the field.

I think you are absolutely true.After all Ford was the choice of some senior cricketers. Let us see who coaches whom. Poor Mr Ford.
half of the indian team does not need coach since the experiance our players has much much more than Mr. ford played , for younger and new players i think he is useful, for sachin and other seniors ford is nothing and i doubt coach will follow our seniour's technique. you see THis coach will survive since he himself has little exposure to international cricket.

Chappel may be a great player ,but as a coach he was nowhere near to John Wright.India & BCCI did not treat John with the courtesy while at the time of his leaving and hardly acknowledged the contribution to Indian team which he made silently unlike Chappel who was like politician going to Media with E mail leaks. He would be rtemembered as a rascal who at the behest of BCCI played politics,divided the team and broughtout the worst out of the Indian team. India had to loose to bangaldesh and out in the first round of WC. In any other country the Captian & coach would have been shown the door. In India ,the politics is the prime consideration,and would be there untill we have honest people in BCCI.
The name of the new coach reminds me of two great fords namely "HENRY FORD" and "GERALD FORD".This were man of immense talent and perseverence.They were dedicated to the cause to which they were wedded.Our "GRAHAM FORD" will have to adhere himself more to the individual players,than to the team.What a shame when we hear than Rahul and his man has a backing to the new coach.This is like asking the "vidhyarthis" to select their new "guru" and therefore teach him nuisance rather than getting taught wisdom.Good luck to Ford.
Now atlast Indian team got foreign coach, he dont have good profile. My choice was Davwhatmore, India cant deserve under ford, I am sure india will no more the best team. Look at Dav whatmore's profile. He has a right kind of management skills. I wish dav whatmore to be appointed after one year term of Ford. All the best to India team.
