The selection was good.We can't say it is the best bcos it depends on the result, fools always criticise, bcos they have nothing else to do we can categorize the selected players into 3 categories 1.Exp Players trying to come back : sehwag, irfan, harbajan,kaif and others , who were under performing bcos of complicense. 2.New and promising players: Pujara,Tiwary,Neeraj patel etc. 3.Existing players but trying to settle in team : robin,chawla,RP Singh,Powar The good part is not includes stupids(recommended candidates) like dinesh mongia,Arjun yadav,Deep das gupta. With all the players trying to establish,ideally should deliver the best and India should do reasonably well. I donot have huge expectations.
It is good decision taken by Sachin because a series opportunity will get to the inform players like Pathan, Raina, Harbhajan,Kaif etc. for a come back. Apreciate Sachin
This is ridiculous and unfair to see that sachin wasnt selected in the 30 probables. Selector should reconsider their decision and include Master Blaster in the team for 20/20 World cup.......

You fool read the heading properly and understand its meaning. Why you are blaming others? It is their (sachin and dravid) decision to stay out from 20WC.

it seems selectors are influenced by jaspal bhatti.what else we expect from mr sharad pawar & co.. after all there team has given worstever performance in worldcup now its 20-20 .
I think India will miss the seniors (Sachin,Ganguly & Dravid). They should have been included in final 14 members squad for 20-20 WC. Its not that India will not win the matches with these seniors but its not the right time to keep them out. This is first 20-20 world cup and India should go with full fletch team with experienced palyers. The tournament like world cup should not be taken lightly.
twenty 20 is nonsense, and slam bang. however it seems to be popular. probably it should be from a different set of players, who weild the club better, players from baseball can apply! we dont need yet another batsmen only game derived from cricket. one day game itself has changed the way cricket is played. why do we need to shorten the game and make it a "rush game" ? we are fine with the old style.
without Tendulkar and Ganguly difficult to win 20 WC.Now they r in good form.Dravid opt out OK. No other exp. player other than Yuvi and Gambhir.Again we will come back empty hand.At least we have chance to win if Tendulkar and Ganguly included.

Indians have yet to play 20/20 (except one ag SA).None are adapted to 20/20. We were the last to join 20/20 so least prepared.
So having ST , SG or RD will not make much diff as they r debutants to new format.
Y not use this opportunity with freshers when the whole world is playing first time.
Strengthen the20/20 from scratch rather put old wine in new bottle.
