You guys will never change. If somebody plays well you will priase them to the skies. Otherwise you dont hesitate to criticise them ruthlessly.
Sachin & Ganguly should go. They should give an opportunity to the new cricketers. There is no dearth for good cricketers in India. Only thing is they need support and an opportunity to perform.
Shane Warne has still the ability to take 5 wickets in a match. But he wanted to give opportunity to others. Sachin and Ganguly need to learn a lot from him.

I am the real Ian u fool!!! I come up here because u guys r writting rubbish about my dear brother Greg and writing foolishly about that saurav!!! He deserve all the "Kicks" my brother has given him !!! Got it Mate!!!
Few days back, I was of the view that Sourav must quit the game, but today going by his performance I am proud to say that he has done India proud by showing the people age is not a bar for cricketer. Even Sachin has shut his critics out when he was told his game is over. Whatever it is I wish the Indian team a very good luck so that it clashes with Australia in the title clash of the World cup final.
Well done Yuvi!! U deserve all the applause!! I think the only tremendous thing which i guess Ganguly has done in his career is introducing u to international cricket!!! But I think it is under my brother Greg's supervision the youngesters like u groomed and nurtured!!Isn't it Mate!!!

What is done meantime Result non performance of Kaif, Irfan, Swehbag Who are new talent generated under the guidence of Greg and Rahul Only Sreesant. Each and every team are back with the bunch old players including Australia, who I doubt is a contender for world cup this time.
Mr. Keshav writes that Dungarpur & More took courageous decisions in dropping Ganguly coz he has come back a %u201Cbetter%u201D player.
I beg to differ.
Ganguly has never been the one not to take his game seriously. Others were playing badly too.
And for a man like Dungarpur, who has a "VAST" experience of "WATCHING" cricket in England, I used to find it absolutely sickening to see Dungarpur extolling on the cricketing capabilities and attitude of a player like Ganguly. Basically he was firing at Dalmia from Ganguly's shoulders.
AS for Bedi, He has always thought of himself as some sort of Linguist & Rebel, Till Gavaskar came along and stole his thunder in the media! The best thing Bedi can do now is to guide his son Angad in his cookery shows & non-existing acting carrer, enjoy a peaceful life as one of India former captains. Mr Bedi basically likes giving sound bytes!
Kiran More, after an indistinguished cricket carrer, (remember he was himself a controvertial choice, after the West Zone lobby managed to oust Kirmani & Bharat Reddy), he needed to find his place under the sun after predecessors like Gungappa Vishwanath, Chandu Borde etc..
I believe, we as lovers and followers of the game have a right to discuss / criticize in public forums such as these we%u2019re rebutted and sometimes abused straightaway. But what about former cricketers who claim to have played the game at the highest level making statement on national TV, where the audience is politely told not to aggressively confront an %u201CExpert%u201D , or it will be edited?
I know this for a fact that I have been a part of some of these shows myself.

Hi all, The point that u made (sengupta)is true no doubt. but I think u have not read the recent article in Cricinfo and rediff too that More claimed credit for Dada's Banging Reentry in Indiam team. Just go throug that article and see that how can a man be such "sameless". I think he is the biggest "black spot" in Indian cricket.

Dear Chappel,
You are exactly correct. I appreciate Dungarpur & More for taking action against Sourav, otherwise we would not have received this oppurtunity of seeing sourav's super return of form. So they (Dungarpur, More) have done great job. It is alwways necessary to give a gap to under performing players to regain their confident and form.
The same treatment should be given to all players who are not in form.
So it is not good to criticise Dungarpur and More.

Mr. Sengupta, You are absolutely right. It is a nice reply to the manipulators. I was very young when Bedi in our Team, but I have seen Kiran More's cricket career and I am sure he was there in our team because of our ugly politics and god fathers. You are cent percent correct he is a West Zone lobby. What he said about Ganguly.. Ganguly is a closed chapter in Indian cricket.. nonesense.. Kiran More... a worm in Indian Cricket is talking about the Legend Saurav Ganguly.. he was the biggest manipulator and the ugly Seclection Committee Chairman.. Indian Cricket's disaster was Kiran More.. It is nice to see Wengsarkar in that place and he deserve that position too. Shame to KIRAN MORE.. shame you Kiran More.. you watch how Ganguly came back to Indian team and how he is playing now.. when he stands in our team.. I feel very proud not only me the true Indians. Yes Ganguly's face is shining.. he will do better in World Cup .. I m sure.. His form is true reply to KIRAN MORE and Greg Chappel who played ugly politics.

I guess u r absolutely right mate!! Mr brother Greg has groomed and gel the team so well that the team is now performing in top gear just before the start of the cup!! U see my brother has treated Ganguly so well that comes in top gear too!! Imagin if my brother didn't gave him shock treatment what would happen? U will not see Ganguly of today!! My brother was also in favour of same shock treatment for sehwag also!! But Alas!!! Rahul came in the way!!!

Congrets to team India. IT was great team effort. Yuvraj scripted the team;s victory. Robin, sewag, ganguly all contributed with bat and bowlers did a good job with support of good fielding. Dravid as captain is doing a very good job.When Srilanka viisted India with Murali and Vaas, india won series with 6-1 without ganguly's. Not loosing a series at home is record itself. And many fans are telling the victory is b'cuz of ganguly But ganguly was out (caughtand bowled ) and sangakara appeal was turndown by umpire Sahastri. Otherwise india would have been 110 for 4 in 14.1 over and gaguly's score was 7 Dhoni played crucial innings (in first 2 matches) did a good job behind the wkts. His average is for innings -115 while ganguly around 80 from 3 innings. D'silva innings was very good and deserved to be MOM

Hello Suman... It is clear that you are PA of Dravid. Why you are always against Ganguly.. I have noticed a lot of your comments in the past against Ganguly and appraisal to Dravid. Even Dravid did not play yesterday.. and in the fielding also Ganguly done very good yesterday. He is really a classic player and was a Good Captain after Mohammed Asharuddin. India won the series in past all not because of Dravid and it was team effort. Dravid is a good player not a good Captain. Let us hope he will do something in World Cup. It is nice to see that Uthappa, Shewag, Ganguly, Yuvraj played well yesterday and we can pray to stay it. Aslo we can hope Sachin, Dravid, Dhoni & Karthik will perform well. Our pace bowlers also will show in Carebbean soil.. Let us pray for Zaheer, Irfan, Munaf, Sreesanth,Agarkar, Harbhajan & talented Kumble to do their best in West Indies. Come on Indiaaaaa..... it was nothing against ganguly. team under dravid's captaincy won series last year when lanka was toured with murali and vaas. and this series dhoni got average of 115 in 2 matches and did a good job behind the wkts while ganguly's average comes around 80 with 3 innings. Dravid as captain did a good job and it is record now that he did not loose any series in home in last 16 months.Even against SA india drawan 2-2 that too without ganguly Why don' u give credit to other players victory is team effort. Drvid is proven he is equally doing good job as a captain. What was gnaguly's succes/ contribution to team as a captain in first 16 months?

You forgot the situation when Ganguly became captain. The team was really broken into pieces when Ganguly took the charge. He has done whatever it takes to make a bunch of people a winning TEAM. For Dravid, all the good players were present, only temporary form slump happened that time. He did not have that much of a challenge what Ganguly had. Also, Under Dravid and Chappel, Team India was peaking in Indian pitches only and eventually team spirit went down. Now Ganguly is back and immediately we can see lots of team spirit in the whole team. So, ganguly is not only helping the team by battin or bowling, but also showing examples of dedication, team spirit etc. We don't have to make Ganguly captain now, but it is bad to say that he was not a very good captain. He is the king. He does not have captaincy, but still people talk more about him than any other player! Dravid is a very good player, but not a great captain. And you can not judge this by just statistics of win/loss, you need to see something more than that.

team spirit was spoild by ganguly when he vomited dressing room conflict in front of media during zimbabwe tour. and ganguly is politician and re entered team with politician's support. And dedication and team spirit is not only b'cuz of ganguly dravid is always example for that. for ganguly fans he is king / tiger But it his success is b'cuz of contributions of sachin, kumble, laxman and dravid more than leaderhip qulaity or aggression. and media always unfair to dravid. last match was won by dravid and dhoni's partnership and zahirkahn. otherwise ind would have lost series. It should have been dhoni MOS more than gnaguly.
