Winning big games is an art mates !!! Aussies know this art very well !!! There was a time when WI knows this art so they dominated that era !!! Even Pakistanies know this art when Imran and Miandad played in their team !!!
SA doesn't know this art that's why they have choked in big games !!!
U got to believe the mindset of winning big games is totally different from winning other matches !!! Ask any great names wether it is Clive loyad, Imran Khan or Steve Waugh . All these players and there teams know this art of winning big game !!! They will always say "skill can't make any big difference because the team u r playing is equally good skill wise"!!! The only difference is thinking that I CAN WIN and I WILL WIN and u have to raise the level of games which somehow Indians and South Africans not able to do dispite being a brilliant teams !!!!
Aussies KNOW they WILL win and Indians THINK they CAN win !!!!
But I guess India can turn the tables this time after their previous experiences in world cup final !!!!

I think under Ganguly, we did win some crucial matches. We need agression and killer instinct - only ganuly has it in the senior lot. remember chasing 314 or first test in Australia or canada against pakistan ( we started on an even foot with pakistan ever since then - til then we always lost to pakis) and many more such innings

You are absolutely correct suman. Ganguly has got man of the series award. But lets see now in wc against macgrath,lee,shane bond, shoab akhtar and other fast bowlers what ganguly does.

Dravid yet to win big tournaments for India. Ganguly already did it by taking India to final in Champions trophy 2000 and winning it in 2002. Dravid's record outside subcontinent is also very bad.

it was sachin played brilliantly against pakistan and took team to smeis. any team win agianst Kenay and ganguly scored 100 against weaker team which was his last 100 till day in odis. Gnaguly is stroke player and he has advatange of opeing innins while dravid played more times at no 5, 6, 7. team ind reach WC 03 final not b'cuz of ganguly's captaincy b'cuz os sachin played brilliantly only he did not get credit but ganguly for being captian praised as successful captain.the real performer is sachin who scored highest no of runs won MOS.. Give dravid chance to lead team for 5 yrs and he will also win big torunaments. team had humiliated defeat against kiwis, SA, ausses, pakistan druing ganguly captaincy.

dravid is dubbed as puppet of chappell but for same dravid criticised for supporting sewag against willingness of chief selector and coach. media reported him as jiddi and arrongant. Ganguly is not more assertive but he was more authorative and over hyped by media. while dravi'ds performance achievement or contributions always sidelined by the big names of ganguly and sachin. But ICC awards speaks for him and he does not need media hype or godfather in bcci, or politician's backups...

Dravid is a yes boy of Greg chappell, he does nt have the guts to stand up for his players, Gangulu is far more assertive and a much better aptain

It`s useless making u understand.u r just anti-Ganguly.Dravid`s a good support and a consistant batsman but he`s not cut out 2 b a captain.and u can`t expect a captain to win each and every match.u r arguing just for the sake of it.atleast under ganguly,the team never got beaten 1-4(WI) or 0-4(SA) WHILE PLAYING OUTSIDE THE SUBCONTINENT.
