It is time to smart from the crushing defeat and realize the potential in batting. I believe that the first game went down hill for India due to stage fright of batsmen and initital unfamiliarity with the talent of Australian fast bowling. Hope our team make amends learn and fight back in the next game.
In this way we have good combination of batsmen and bowlers with one allrounder Irfan. By this there will be 3 seemers, 1 special spinner and 3 part timers(Ganguly,Shewag,Yuvi) Bottom line Dravid has to be dropped and let Yuvi take his position to prove himself without dismantling the batting order.

For India's sake, Kumble must drop DARVID NOW and for ever. He is not only playing for himslef but getting the team into hopeless postions. What a justcie for what he did to our Saurav. He cant rotate strike, he cant score runs, he cant run what the hell is he in the team for???Didnt he drop Saurav for the same thinsg??? If he has any concience why doesnt he just drop himself? I agree with you. Dravid is the root cause for India's defeat. He brought so much -ve energy to the Indian batting. Suppose if he would got out in 10 balls the other people would have played and consolidated from there on. But Dravid played with that attitude for so long which gave the momentum to Aussie bowlers by batting so much negatively. I am very sad to see a player of his caliber is playing like this. Lets praise Dravid for what he had achieved and give him a grand farewell. Team is more important than an individual. Selectors are also to be blamed for not giving opportunity to ranji players who are in their top form. The ranji should be have been given international exposure in matches played in India. Now we are in a very awkward situation. There is no suitable replacement for Dravid. Only players who are available in the squad are also out of form. Very sad to see Indian cricket is managed very poorly.

Look who's talking. Dravid should be dropped? You must be totally nuts. We all wish that SG be dropped and Sehwag to be brought in. Dravid is king and kings dont change easily where as foot soldiers do.

If Ganguly has balls to open the Innings then Dravid can be dropped. Remember that , Ganguly's batting improved only after he was dopped for a few matches. Sehwag could not score in slow Indian pitches. How will he score in Australia?

Drop Dravid and give him a one way ticket to Bangalore. The ODI team improved after him being kicked out.

perfect team, i also think Dinesh kartik will be best for Test and Viru again on australlian soil a dashing opener. Irfan will be added advantage with his all round performance.

Fine, team looks fine above, however instead of Dravid we can have a bowler like Ishant who needs to be tested with hs speend and swing in Aus. Dravid if plays will make maximum of 15 to 20 odd runs in both innings, so why not to have a bowler instead, may be Ishant can score more than Dravid.
Attack Indians Attack. Thats the key. See how the Australians batted, they attacked us and played at an run rate of 4. They have an inexperience attack, remember no McGrath, Gillespie or Shane Warne. Destroy their line of attack. And please show good body language, i never saw Dravid smiling while batting. Australian bowling was not dangerous men they just bowled to a line and plan. Destroy their line and plan. Dravid is not comfortable opening the innings its just in his mind. Get the attacking option for the next game whether batting or bowling. Pick Ishan Sharma some of the new guys whom the Australian have not played and pick Irfan the advantage will be use him as an opener for attacking the bowling and another bowling option. Plan the next game for only winning it. Try and Win.

Devasis roy, Dravid is still a class act and its just a matter of time before he gets back his form. Remember India's key to victory in this series is Dravid(Dravid failed and the rest fell like a pack of cards.)Even last time India did well bcoz of his outstanding performance.
Pls dont blame Dravid for sourav's ouster from the team. It was sourav's poor performance with the bat and his tussle with Chappell.He deserved to be dropped then just as he deserves to be in the team now.
