They should have honored Our Bengal Tiger for scoring 1000 runs in 2007. They havent done that. He has made the greatest comeback ever in cricket so far

Ganguly will get honored only in Bengal. Outside,he is not even fit to be a ball boy for Team India.

Which era re you in, everyone knows about the contribution of people from the South of India towards science and technology. Engineering karne ke liye...you will come to Bangalore, if you are such intellectuals in your place, why are there some many strikes. Why did your cities not develop the way Bangalore and Hyderabad have, if you are such intellectuals??? For all sorts of medical treatments you will come all the way to Chennai, Hyderabad and Vellore. Yeh sab cities kya WB mein hain....why are your intellectuals not able to provide you with all these facilites??? Abe jealous hone ke liye kuch hona toh chahiye...the only thing about which people can envy you is the fact that apart from the regular holidays, you get some extra off on strike days.
It is good that awards being presented to Cricketers, who are really well off today. May I request the BCCI to honour the three long standing Cricket Statisiticians - Anandji Dossa Sudhir Vaidya and HR Gopala Krishna - who have done yeoman service to the Indian Cricket through Statistics.
It was a shocking to see Dravid in the list. He has not done anything worthwhile other than scoring poorly in test cricket and getting dropped from ODIs. This goes to show his nexus with BCCI top brass.
why u bongs always begging something for ganguly, first a place in team, then after his performance a award for him, let him play in australia definately he will be rewarded by showing the exit door. He is good for nothing, just putting some runs on board against weak bowling on placid tracks doesn't make a great crickter.

nobody is begging .. ganguly proved his mettle and worth .. so he or bongs does not need begging or useless and mindless words of useless and worthless Atul sharma...

care to explain why 10 other players in the indian team was not qualified to receive the same awards playing on the same pitch against the same opposition? Obviously, your views are nothing but biased.

I can exlpain you italian mafiaaa! Firstly some of Team india players are impotent for example GANGULY, KUMBLE, SHEWAG, MUNAF, ISHANT etc. but they have illegitimate relationship with either local cricket board officials or they are GAY who have illegitimate relationship with other Team INDIA members! They are picked on the basis of past records and their prior relationship not on cricketing talent, age or potential! Shame on all who support them!

inclusion of sehwag on his past performance in ausi, give him a place in ausi tour. now questions to b asked is? firstly, y ganguly was dropped as player when he was not in form? even he had the past record against the respective teams. similarly, y dravid was dropped as player when even he was having tremendous past record against pak? if gangu/dravid's omission is justified then veeru's inclusion definitely raises eyebrow.

Dropping Ganguly was understandable. Team Management found out that Ganguly loves to play for statistics and not for team.
Dravid dropping was shocking and it revealed an underground nexus between Vengsarkar and Ganguly. It was Ganguly's revenge and nothing more. Cheapish Ganguly.

It is a gamble selectors have taken. I doubt Viru will be successful on this tour because he lacks confidence at the moment. Hope he plays well though since he has the ability to win matches singe handedly.

viru is past of his prime. he performed when his reflexes were good without any technique. now his technique is same but reflexes are also gone.

recall one test match where ausi scored 400 runs in a single day 1st day of the match, still ausi lost that match.
