There is a game plan of anti Saurav guys. 1. Criticise Saurav 2. If he plays well blame the pitch and blame the opponent. 3. If you can not criticise him as he is playing well then criticise the Bongs. 4. Criticise the Eden Garden crowd. 5. Give the credit to Chappel and More for dropping Saurav. Pathetic guys. hese are some new terms in cricket for ganguly given by some guys of rediff forum, specially from sun dravid bangalore, cool dravid guy, akhil, sanjay son of militants, anshul, chaddi dravid singh, sachin dravid srivatsava, suman bhat and many more, 1. Ganguly injured means Ganguly escapes from facing fast bowling, Ganguly rested means Ganguly dropped, Ganguly scores century means he batted against weak bowling or dead pitch, Ganguly leads well means only Dravid, Laxman performs. 2. Ganguly well timing for a square cut boundry means weak fielding. 3. Ganguly hits six to off spinner means poor bowling from a medicore bowler. 4. Ganguly makes single, means ball went up to boundry, at least 2 could have taken. 5. Ganguly takes double, means ball went up to boundry, at least 3 could have taken. 6. Ganguly takes wicket means batsman threw his wicket. 7. Ganguly gets LBW , means ganguly bribed umpires. 8. Ganguly cameback to the team means due to influnce of CPM,IBN,NDTV,JADEJA,Politicians. 9. Ganguly scoring runs means, CPM and Politicans bribed the scorer to update fast. 10.Ganguly got capatincy because of Dalmiya. 11.Ganguly took best decision during captaincy because decisions were taken by Dravid and asked saurav to do so. 12. Most successful captain means, only performnaces given by other players speacially dravid and poor decisions taken by opposite capatains. Ha Ha Ha.. man, same can be said for bongs who never praise Rahul Dravid whenever he plays well. He has played a lot of fabulous innings Adelaide, Lahore, Kolkata, you seem to be a sensible guy why don't you just discuss good things about Saurav, Rahul and all the other cricketers, why are you being sucked into some of the blind Ganguly supporters. Ganguly has a lot of supporters all over India that does not mean that all those supporters hate Rahul Dravid. It is possible to be a supporter of Rahul Dravid and Saurav Ganguly at the same time. Why are you falling into the trap of partisan and unruly Bongs. Enjoy the game.

Dravid went with chappel against his own team mates...he lost the respect...their....have u ever wondered...why ganguly had support of yuvraj bhaji zajheer...pathan....
Why yuvraj went with SACHIN against chappel after the world cup.
Why dravid didnt say anything when chappel blamed sachin and ganguly for the world cup...
Chappels idea was young team with experienced captain so he can have his way...he just wanted to keep yes man dravid while get rid of sachin and ganguly.

what were seniors doing in world cup 2007 ? who failed just Dravid alone or a bunch of seniors. It is the selectors who decide team composition and Dravid only has a say and by the way it is the youngsters who have given us the recent T20. Chappell was not here to conquer us he was here on our invitation you should feel happy that atleast in cricket western guys bow before the might of India. Greg Chappell was never a good fit/coach that does not mean all he did was wrong.

Dravid is a far better test player than Ganguly in tests and averages are proof of it. Similarly one can say Ganguly is far better ODI player and possibly a better captain than Rahul one can also say that. But this is India dude, is anything ever straight-forward? we make a mess of everything. We south asians are not yet matured as race, do you remember how India Pakistan matches were treated as virtual wars. If ganguly is not playing well drop him, if Dravid is not playing well drop him it is as simple as that. Why bring bong and non-bong issues. why bring politics to the issue. Rahul Dravid was dropped recently and there was no hue and cry because he was not playing well recently in ODIs and maybe he is not motivated enough. That is all there is to it. All these emotions will not make us a strong nation it will make us a weak nation. Just as an example if David Beckham is dropped from England football side , do you think Parliament will discuss it.

yesterday Ganguly got a great standing ovation from Bangalore crowd, but some short-sighted bongs want to portray this as bong v/s south indian issue and take great pleasure in belittling South Indians in general and Dravid in particular. Wake up and smell the coffee dude.

well, theyve barked up on the wrong tree. saurav recieved a great reception, and was very well appreciated throughout the match. now ganguly fans will find mistake in anything in that too. all they need to know - saurav should be treated top flight, form or no form, he's the ONLY person in the team.

most of the times, its saurav fans who create the most issues, they simply cannot admit anyone else doing good, and offer saurav as the universal solution for everything to be fixed. saurav fans are more destructive to saurav than anyone else. the more gung ho they are abt their favourite cricketer the more anti-ganguly-fans they spawn.
dude, tendulkar and dravid have been consistently performing too, save for a dip in form for dravid this year, and tendulkar last year. ganguly has done remarkably well after his 2005 season - which also saw his debacle of sorts on many fronts. yet, no ganguly fan can digest it. instead whenever ganguly hits a century, all ganguly fans come out lie the white ants, almost ritually.
get real, learn to appreciate anyone else other than ganguly. it can be pathan o anyone else for that matter. as long as ganguly alone will be projected as the lone solution, ganguly is going to be bashed by the anti-ganguly-fan those who oppose ganguly fans, not ganguly.
Dravid is really a pathetic player. He survived on the support extended by Saurav and then stabbed himin the back. Jealous guy with useless supporters like those who instead of praising Ganguly Pathan and Yuvraj, are blaming the pitch.

well, everyone praised ganguly. by the same measure i doubt if dravid who's really excelled and served india well for several years will receive any support from bengal. bengal does not appreciate anyone else other than ganguly.

Raj, u dont read news paper. During Calcutta test Dravid was invited by people from Behala were Ganguly lives and was specially felicitated by them. Yes, bongs are extra emotional and revolt for anything ans specially who they love, example when Gavaskar dropped kapil, he and shastri were booed so badly by the calcutta crowd that gavaskar swore he will never play again in Calcutta.
Why Rediff and other companies are not writing any news about ICL. I watched couple of matches and I had good time. This shows that How Indian media is so biased.

It'll be a while before ICL gets accepted. County cricket in England took several years before it was largely accepted by the general public. ICL is still in its infancy here...but the concept is good in that it increases competition and keeps BCCI honest and on its toes - plus we get to select players for the National side, who are pitted against good players from other teams on a regular basis - which is healthy for Indian cricket.

The pathetic BCCI has banned all those players selected to play for ICL. That means they will not be picked for the National side. Now BCCI is talking IPL and speding millions on tons of foreign stars. If BCCI has spent all those money on the local players and strengthing local circuit, the ICL will not have come in the picture..
