Hello Manjunath,
That has been happening world over. See the football clubs in Europe, especially Italy? Most of the players are foreigners there, and for sure they play for money. And do earn it the hard way.

charity begins at home.every person in this good world seems to think about himself, so what is wrong if Pakistanis do it?
We have seen in the past that our players gain lot by plaing in County cricket in England rather than plaing in Ranji Trouphy abd other domestic tournament. Its because they get good exposur on good pitches and against good players.Same is the case in Australia although not many foreign players paly in Australia. But they have very good domestic games better tahn many test playing teams. Let us hope same happens here in ICL but I am very doubtful if this will be a success here.In India cricket is religion but it is resticted to Internatinal matches involving India only. What ICL will be able to assmble is either retired palyers or those who are discared by thier own country or those who feel that they will never get selected in their country team. So it is to be seen how it comes out but Indian Cricket board is crying for nothing. Its a perfact example of mismanagement and bad politics.I do not know why people like Sharad Pawar are allowed to handle both Ministry and presidentship of BCCI when MP like Jaya Bachan was dismised because she was holding some post which gave some benifit or monetry benifits. BCCI can very well work like England cricket.
Very soon you will find Reliance starting RCL (Reliance Cricket league) if this is going to generate millions of Dollars. Anyhow this is good for the sport & a big hit to the corrupt & autocratic BCCI.

As we all are aware cricket is a money making game, so what is the harm if Zee makes money as they are also providing the same to players. Players like Muzumdar and Kulkarni who have absolutely no chance of making the indian team forever are getting 1 crore for a 3 year deal with 1 lakh per match which for me i dont think is bad.
So i dont mind Zee making money as it is also helping the players financially and there has to be another rebel league to counter attack the stupid BCCI.

Good question! It is rebel league since BCCI does not recognise it and still it continues to patronize cricket in India.

Who can be termed as a rebel - one who is fighting the establishment or one who is fighting the national sentiment? In the first case ICL is rebel, in the second case, it is the BCCI. -Owl Pakkiri
