my congratulations to ICL for breaking this dictatorship of BCCI and such bodies all over the world. Cricket is not somebodies pet and like other things it should also have good competition then only it blossoms. Cricket koyi BCCI ka tekha nahi hai and what rights BCCI has to ban a cricket from playing...this would been done when azhar and jadeja and manoj were banned. who is BCCI to ban them....it has become a complete waste body with no use to cricket but to earn money and feed dirty politicians. Good job ICL....it is required now that there should be such cricket leagues all over the world and there should be a world cup...where all these talents participate..and which is a real cricket war...it will happen very soon..
RE:GOVT must make law on national team selection by IAS officers under direct control of Indian President's office...also make clear that all bccis.icls are private bodies only, and no one has any right to ban players from entering the national team....

Gove must tell that the national team will be selected from all leagues best performers of every season, even if ranji, league or what so ever...
It will be a good move to have different pools and it will give the players better exposure. However, due to the restrictions imposed by national and international cricket boards, it will end up having either retired players who are already past their prime and players "discarded" by the respective state and national boards. However, it is worthy to note that all those "discarded" are not short of calibre and talent. So, it can be highly competive to excel here as well. The only thing is that the national selectors should have an open eye to those who excel here to call them for a national duty. Also, what is wrong if players from different teams under the set up of BCCI are playing for different leagues if they are not jeopardising their matches under BCCI?

needs to be marketed well.prime example is NBA. Now NBA in america is more popular than even basketball against nations. If you have the marketing bucks, and if your strategy is right, theres hardly anything which cant be a success.
ICL should teach lesson to BCCI as BCCI is full bunch of waste guys with commercial view only%u2026they are not professionals and they are managing BCCI just as political company, why Pawar need another Power filled job in his career though he is busy with own shit politics%u2026.One person in this world cannot be perfect 10 in everything%u2026.
ZEE and Kapil : you guys are terrific job, pls keep up the spirits and lets see how BCCI as a private political body can ban the talent%u2026as long as ICL can produce some brilliant and real talented competitive cricket filled with fun activity%u2026.No one can stop ICL%u2026long live ICL
its a good start for the poor domestic cricketers who are given the worst of facilities, pay packets and poor conditions to play in. i think its good start and good to go for a better future for cricketers. BCCI has no right to usurp money of so many sport lovers. once it gets corporatized and if its a succsess, im sure the benefits would be much larger for players as a whole than even playing for India.
If the ICL signs up all the best bowlers in the world who then get banned from official cricket, then our pampered batsmen will be able to score many more centuries against weak bowling attacks! ;-)
I think its a good start for sporting events in India, if they can utilize the profits to support other sports too, than India can have better football, better olympians.
RE:Very soon India cricket will collapse in a flood of leagues - Reliance,TATA, Idea, Airtel, TOI, rediff, Yahoo. Infosys, Malayala Manorama, NDTV, Ajtak....all might start their own cricket leagues...

I think that its a good thing isnt it? Instead of only ICCI representing India, let the best club represent India. It might lead us to winners and many more sachins and Dhonis, etc.

...so whats the big deal? It is in a way exposing the new talent which would have perhaps never made their mark in the contemperory format of cricket.I would call it a blesing in disguise!!

...so what's the big deal pal? In a way it is good cause it will help the suppressed talent to surface which otherwise is not possible in the contemporary format of the game where the strings are in hands of a selected few beaurocrats..
