Dont give many chances for a player who is inconsistant and not in form. Only few matches, still he fails replace with an ambiant new player. In fact players are selected based on their performance in Ranjimatches or other national matches. Once they come in international team they are seems to be relaxed. In last match munaf patel was so recles to release a ball against australia. This guys really lack the sportman spirit. Indians not wish that every match they play they have to win. Atleast any part of the game or any time we are not able to display the dominance because they are used to defeated by others.
I wish selectors should not give chances based on their previous tours or for their experience in last years. If they are not in form pickthem out.
No doubt about individual's talent but the main thing is confidence and team work. Unfortunately this team lacks both. With this attitute, this Team India can't win any tournament. World cup is not our cup of tea.
By far,it is not surprising to see all the wrong names making it to the final 15.The quota system is back & no matter the performance in domestic cricket,anyone shall find favour in the side.The best part is now we are finding dearth of talent in India which is very surprising as only before the champions trophy,this team appeared full strength.
I am agree with the selectors, there is no exceptional talent available in India. For example, Munaf is said tobe the fastest Bowler in India and now he is bowling at 130+ or less. India need a firy bowler who can continuously bowl at 145+ to dream a victory at SA. India needs batsman who does not feared of such type of bowling.
I dont think this is a best team going SA. They will pick the whatever apples available in the basket.
