Blunting the Asian advantage

ICC be damned! Using glue on the pitch is one more trick to try and blunt the brilliant Asian spinners and provide a track for those that don't have quality spinners! They did a similar thing by bringing in astro turf into field hockey and 'killing' the Asian superiority. Asians are masters at tackling the unpredictable (stems from the way we are forced to live our lives) and therefore perfom well in situations of adversity or unpredictability. Now field hockey is reduced to a game of mere strength and fitness; no skills. The others need a high degree of 'predictability' in their lives to even survive! Use of glues and the like is just a way to bring in that predictability and blunt the Asian advantage. BCCI should protest and not allow ICC to go ahead with such nonsense. Let them play the game fair and not try changing everything to their advantage!
