WRong decisions
by Krishna Chaitanya on Mar 22, 2006 07:40 PM

THroughout the match , I believe the Indian think tank took wrong decisions, right from the team selection, inserting the opposition in and choice of bowlers and all. The fielding and catching compounded the problem. It was a mistake on the part of Dravid and Chappell to drop Laxman from the team and for the sake of an extra bowler where one bowler was underused. We should say that India helped England win the match rather than England winning it.

shameful performance by Indian Team
by adesh on Mar 22, 2006 07:36 PM

This is not the first time Indian team has performed pathetic in India itself, the team has become overconfident of its batting line up that they can beat any team in India. Thats why they did not prepare against australia, result they beat us here after long time, same with pakistan last year...Its becoming the habit of Indian players that they do not prepare well when playing at home...Why is so difference in batting when we are playing outside, our run rate is around 4 runs per over and here in India it is around 2.5 runs per over...The team should not take a series victory as if they are unbeaten, they should prepare well for each series, whether it is in India or outside...We dont see any hunger for victory when they are playing in India. This is not the attitude of team as we Indians would like to see...
