This is absolute embarassment to any Indian cricket lover that politics in indian cricket have become official. How silly More, gave official statement that current selection commitee will not consider Ganguly even if he performs well at domestic level. This means if another political leader joins in BCCI politics then More will do a head nod to new leaders. I think More has forgotten that he was also once upon a time cricket player but not politician or PA to any politcian. He is least bother about a senior most and successfull captain ever India had. May God bless Sachin, Dravid, Sehwag, Laxman that same will not be repeated to these great players. And anyway alread the same has started to Laxman where there was hot discussion to remove Laxman in place of Suresh Raina just because of one bad performance. I just lost complete interest in this kind of "politicricket". I would love to see matches minus Indian team. Good Bye to Indian cricket. Long live Politics and long live political leaders in BCCI to take Indian Cricket team down to earth.
I am surprised how Mr More can say such thing when Mr Ganguly is a contracted player of BCCI and all contracted players are eligible for selection. This is after Mr Pawar said that Mr Ganguly will be back once he scores runs regularly. The main question - who runs BCCI - Mr Pawar or Mr More. The days are not far when BCCI will slam the door on Mr More. Is Mr More taking revenge because of Abhijit Kale episode?
Anyway who remembers Mr More for his role in Indian cricket. Everybody remembers and will remember Mr Ganguly's contribution to Indian cricket.
I am definitely not a huge fan of Ganguly and there may be thousands of people who dont like ganguly but my question is should Ganguly be really thrown out of the Indian Cricket team in such a humiliating manner? I dont think so. Everybody has their good and bad times. Tendulkar had the same time, he did not perform good for such a long time but he was not thrown out of the team then why Ganguly. I wish that all of the people should support him at this time and not make his life more miserable. Every human being makes errors and even GOD gives them chances to prove themselves. I totally support Ganguly and i wish that the board of selectors give him one more chance to prove himself.
More as the chief selector is the worst thing that ever happened to Indian Cricket.
Going by his logic, Dravid, Sachin, Laxman & Kumble also should not be in the team. Or does More think he can fool the fans into thinking that these stalwarts have age on their side?
The selection process reeks of personal vendatta against DADA, with tacit approval from the captian himself.
Seniors players should acknowledge the unfair treatment meted out to Sourav. Today it is Dada, tomorrow can be their turn.
