With the intervention of the current BCCI President in bringing a sort of truce in Indian Cricket there was no business for the manager holding a responsible post in the touring team to have raked up past issues.He must be reprimanded for such outbursts.Greg has incidentally underplayed his diff of opinion with Sourav.
Raj Singh Dungarpur has turned senile. It is advisable that people like him are retired prmanently and not given responsible positions in an important tour like this. He is not only demoralising Ganguly but the entire team India by his stupid comments. He seems to be a terribly frustrated individual for reasons best known to him. He should be called back immediately and replaced with amore sensible person.
The man with right intention seldom criticizes other rather his/her greatness lay on if he/she can do some thing constructive for the person and for the team. I do not think Mr. Dungarpur is doing anything constructive by giving a statement against Ganguly, which is not completely true, that to at this point of time. It not only be harmful for Ganguly but will be harmful for the team India as well, as his statement would help in increasing moral advantage of the Pakistani players. I became very suspicious whether he would like to be manager of team Pakistan rather than team India? When every thing is about to be cool, why Mr. Dungarpur bringing complexities again into the team India? Rather Mr. Dungarpur should learn from great person like Gavaskar, Kapil Dev and other great player to know how to offers comments about a player and how to construct a player.
If Ganguly can listen to many other person why can not he listen to Dungarpur? I think Mr. Dungarpur shoul know how to make a player convince.
In my personal view conflicts betwen the team memers and the management or BCCI should be resolved in-house when the players are playing in the home country.
I am at all not convinced by the step taken by Mr. Dungarpur by raising a sensitive as well as contraversial issue when our team is on for its Pakistan tour.
As we know in the mathces against Pakistan(our traditional rival) along with the playing skills moral support plays an important role.
With a debate on such contraversial issues will not only create a mental trauma to all the players as well will spoil the enviornment of dressing room.
I would like to request all our esteemed managers and officals of BCCI to please allow the teammates to play in their origina rythm.
Why can't Mr.Dungarpur keep his mouth shut and work as a manager for the team,instead of blabbering on the first day of the tour.Please send him home right away and ask him to stay away from cricket.
