splitting the national team to be in the limelight
by krishna kumar on Jan 07, 2006 08:43 AM

Thr comments of Mr. Raj Sing is a irresponsible act which will harm team intrests, as a manager he is supposed to be the father figure in the group and like any father he has to nurse his wards but not go public with his fustrations.

The outburst itself shows where his intrests are.Either it was a spontaneous remark or it was a calculated one, but both ways it has done harm to the Indian cause and there no two ways about it hence highly deplorable.

Mr. Raj Sing's appointment seems to be a brownie which he has earned for himself by being in the right camp, tell us Mr Raj if the warring parties are quiet about the whole matter and are playing it down what right do you have to put more oil into the fire and make our team's unity a joke of the year for our opnents.

OH! my country when will you be free of such zealots who for personal fame and gain tarnish your fair name.

About Dungarpur's Comments at a wrong time.
by Pavan on Jan 07, 2006 08:24 AM

Mr.Dungarpur,

I do understand that you are a revered statesman in Indian Cricket. But, you probably never lived upto it in 90% of the occasions as you tend to keep poking your nose in everything instead of rather trying to be a shrewd administrator. Nothing is bigger crime than the comments that you are trying to make at a wrong juncture which will affect not Ganguly but, rather impact the Indian Cricket on the whole & it really has a very big impact as you are the Manager at the helm for this tour.

What is that you want to prove at this point & at an instance especially, where your motivation to team is the need of the hour? Don't ever try to be such a worst spoil-sport & at an age where probably deeds resulting in a great cause are expected from you.

You have let whole India down by doing this when sitting in a position where you should have had a very positive impact on the team. Stop this nonsense, nuisance & I wish good sense prevails over you at this crucial juncture.

Every Indian has a part to play for the success of India & that too in a tight-necked series with our arch-rivals Pakistan & you are supposed to be on the top of this list. Please learn to behave.

Dear Sir,

There seems to be no end to "Mud slinging" against Sourav Ganguly,i have been following up closely from the time the Greg Chappel issue started-after the series in Zimbawe against Sourav Ganguly.

First for a coach to openly come out in public against any player is unprecedented leave alone the Captain of the team and now unfortunately a man selected to be as team manager to make such statments,he should be replaced and some responsible person put in his place.

I pray that personal grudge, spite be kept out of Indian cricket and better officials are selected to represent our team and country.

Raj singh dungarpur is absolutely right about Ganguly, he does not deserve to be in the team, he has been wrongfully given a place in the team ahead of Mohammed Kaif who deserves a spot.
