Greg Chappell' view on Indian Team
by R SUBRAMANIAN on Feb 15, 2006 11:25 AM

Vision 2007 for World Cup is amazing for each and every country. Particularly after taking over his charge as a coach, Chappell could inculcate fielding proficiency in the Indian camp. And it is very obvious to see. Regarding bowling department Chappell might have something in his mind which will be alright for the team. Our present strength is on bating only. I hope Chappell is right on his homework. "Work more - Get more" is the policy of Chappell. We welcome his efforts.

Good Job Greg
by Kashyap on Feb 15, 2006 08:08 AM

India should thanks to Greg rather than criticise him on Ganguly issue. He did a great job and changed history. Now we still win match even if it is 185/5 and more than 100 runs required in less deliveries. Thanks to Greg.

greg Chappell interview

What a refreshing change to hear him. Those who selected him need our thanks. The standard of our fielding and the change in the attitude of players are the achievements of the coach. One only hopes and prays that such commitment and integrity rubs of on others who "run" our cricket.

A good person - Chappell !
by Parantap on Feb 15, 2006 01:57 AM

It is good to hear that Mr. Chappell is looking for
"commitment to getting better as a person" from his
players who are in the age group from 20-35. What
is not clear is that he himself at age 56, is good
role model for that, unless of course, he wants his "good person" young players to show middle
fingers to the spectators.

Johnny
ganguly
by Johnny on Feb 15, 2006 12:31 AM

ganguly has been a gr8 player and won matches as an individual also as an capitan.. he is the only player to have records following behind the little master...his records should be considered for the welfare of team and give him a position...he could replace kaif, agarkar and some more who only give very small contribution to the team .. can kaif been compared to ganguly then he has to get back to his ranjis..except his fielding he could surely be a match winner.. but ganguly can be a allroumder..pls refer to statistics and records of ganguly then he will in topline of the team..
