while you are almost to the point in criticising the enitire pack of 'Paper Lions', yours truly is not happy with you missing the biggies of the Indian Cricket. What has been Tendulkar's contribution to the team in the entire series. Worthy of being dropped.Ganguly has fared better than most of his colleagues. Please 'go slow' on the team members from the east zone. Or are you being paid by the syndicate led by one of the ex-All Rounders of the Indian Cricket team, now a very reputed TV Cricket commentator. Are you short of word for some of the most of the most record breaking men. I know they have done much in terms of statistics and will do more when the teams from Bangladesh and Zimbabwe will touch our shores. You too will agree then in your post that though they are weak team the statistics wil never reveal that against their name. I would like to remind you all of the age old adage "Statistics is like a Bikini, what it reaveals is indicative but what it conceals is vital". Over to you gentleman....??? if you are one????
Come on dont take it as a matter of life--its just a game. Apart from cricket, Pakistan and India should improve their standard in other games as well.
One should not be emotional. I wonder why Ganguly was taken back in the team. For an experienced cricketer like him, scoring 20-30 runs in test matches are ridiculous. But at the same time Sachin Tendulakar is equally (rather more) useless to team at present. he is burden on the team. He must be dropped. What selectors are doing? Ofcourse Chappel has done good management in the past but in the present series, openning by irregular partners is also a poor planning among others. Experiments must not be done at the cost of harm.
The basic fact is that India failed to capitalise when Pakistan was struggling at 39 for 6 in first innings and the erratic bowling really led to fine recovery and the easy stumping chance missed by Dhoni is another reason for our defeat.Inspite of the good performance by Ganguly in both innings comparing to other batsmen of indian team I feel it is pure politics which bars him from playing in the one day matches against Pakistan.
A country which feels cricket like food and water for their life, would deserve a team which atleast fight and get a defeat. this shows the lack of national spirit among our players.
i wouldnt say they are bad, but winning matches at home soil is a must, but winning in countries like pakistan is a pride for the nation which they have let down now.
A lot had been spoken abt ganguly and i would say it is high time not to drop only ganguly,we should think abt dropping tendulkar, ganguly and anil kumble for foriegn matches and to bring good breed of youngsters in.
the main failure should be shared between these three guys with their captain rahul dravid who were considered as the most fearful players but seemed to lack discipline.
hard day for indian cricket and it always comes often, so people are use to it.ICC should know onething if popularity of cricket dies in this wonderful nation, ICC will have no use of playing cricket any more...It is not just end of tendulkar's era alone, it is end of indian cricket is also nearing....
cricket is tne worst game on this earth which was invented by some lazy aristocrats in some century and has somehow trickled down to this age with its absurdity. Indians just leave it. It is disgusting.
