Well, it might not have been the most proper and meaningful (?)"take that!" statement of the century, but it did give Andre Nel something to think about the muttering and uttering he does perennially to the opponent batsmen as if he is talking to his keep. I wonder how many times he could do it to the Aussies or to certain BC Lara or Gayle. He did need something stronger yet dignified though.
Having said that, good days are like an overflowed river, therefore SS has to be real careful that his on-field antics don't throw a catch to the ever so hungry ungrateful sports journalists of India.
When the bowlers can use their mouth and the choicy stuff without any consequences from the ICC; but if Shreesant(while batting) gets a rap from the ICC for his hip n a shake and without even using his mouth it would show the double standards of ICC.
If ICC wants sportmanship penalise all the bowlers first especially Nel who does it all the time and also others eg. Mcgrath and co. ( the Australians) who use these kind of strategies by bucketfulls.
the reply couldn't have been better. serves the psycho nel right. we need more aggresive people like sreesanth who can sledge back and return all the crap being dished out by the likes of nel.
This is one of the greatest feat in the history of Indian Cricket. India first winning the test and than the imprssive dance by the younster who broke the shackles of non retaliation. When One person can express his emotions by heated words (Nel) than why can not the other person say SHUT UP DUDE in form of a simple emotional dance. OR are we not allowed to express our emotions anymore in criciket.
