it will be really nice if Greg stay on his words , and there is no if n butts .... But I think this Australian is very smart.. pressure is on Ganguly to perform .. and every one will ask him to perform right from the beginning... But I think he will show his greatness with the bat ... But Greg till World Cup 2007 why ???
Ganguly came into the team after the 4-0 whitewash, to fill in the middle order. Well he scored 83 in the warm up match showing better temperment. But alas what happenned in the second innings. Gangully is always like that. Now that his place is assured in the team, he will fail miserably or India will fail miserably as expected and India will be drubbed again. Again Brinda Karat and CPM will cry hoax about Chappel and will conclude that Gangully be made skipper so that India improves. So long Carrots(Karats) and Potatoes (Commies) play backseat driving and politics, India keep losing, be it be Govt or cricket. Just like we have national animal, national bird, we need a national shame game: CRICKET.

Just SHUT UP you dumb cell! Stop abusing Ganguly like a stupid. Enough is enough. Look at the way Shewag / Laxman / Sachin (the god) is playing.
At least Ganguly managed to break the hurdle of a half century in South African Soil that those great players couldn't. Why pulling politicians every time when Ganguly is included or even somebody considers his name?
Its finally a fair decision that he has been called back into the team. Wash your face and eyes before abusing him when he is performing / showing some good sign. If you are shameful of watching cricket, go to the carom table and enjoy that game.

Dear Mr Srinivasan, I believe U need to know few facts before posting YR comments. People have never said Ganguly is better batsman than Dravid, though Ganguly scored 2 100s in his first 2 tests, which Dravid could not acheive. Ganguly rescued India from the hands of bookies & match fixers. He took charge when the team was at its lowest. U said without Dravid's contribution Ganguly would not have got those wins. Are U aware that Dravid was lebelled as test player and not ODI player? It was Ganguly who fought for Dravid's place in ODI.Even Srinath hanged his boots before WC2003, again it was Ganguly who asked Srinath to join back and they found themselves playing in the final. When Ganguly took charge India was ranked 6/7th and he took the team to No 2. Dravid took charge when we were ranked 2 and today we are 7th. Now I hope U know why & how we won against WI.I am not saying Ganguly is best and rest are worst. As a cricket lover I'll never say that. But when Ganguly gets a chance people like U talk about Karats/politicians. Have U seen the scores of Sachin/Sehwag off late!! they look like mobiles recharge 16 digit Nos... and do U want people to believe that nobody is behind them??

Who agrees with whom? Blinds disapproving a masterpiece painting? Deaf dismissing good music? Who agrees with whose views on Sourav? Good or bad?
Man, Gangulys appear in this world very rare. Look at the face, look at the grace, and look at the emotions. Look at his pleasures, look at his pains, and look at the man who is a commander. Look at him who rescued Indian cricket from the bookies.
Look at the man who charged the averages and ordinaries in to performers.
You guys put pedestrians and soldiers ahead of the leader.
The one who leads now can at best be a good soldier. Look at his face. Never beaming, never bright. Nervous and brooding all the time. Always under the spell of White Mischief.
And a pigmy judged the tallest the jumping Tennis Ball became the selectors head Sacked Ganguly.
You bring Cornell too late. Shame on you Indians, the jealous, the buffoons, the good for nothings, and the diggers of your own graves. Good things are never meant for you. Even if you get it you will lose it soon.
