Why Kaif, no Ganguly
by Sasikanta Tripathy on Apr 21, 2006 11:50 AM

I think it is not good sign for the Indian selector to over left for Ganguly. And according to me, Kaif should be dropped for test series with WI.
Thanking U,
Sasikanta Tripathy

by ram on Apr 21, 2006 10:21 AM

Inspite of repeated failures sehwag and kaif r getting chances, one cant understand howwwww??????
they both r not better players than sourav or laxman
but they will get the chances ... they will perform agianst the windies who r in thier dying stage in world cricket senario and we all will clap....
these sort of chances will not be given to sourav to get his form back and which will be very usefull to the team when they play against some good teams unlike england or srilanka any wayyyyyyyyy lets cccwhat happens

For the first time board hasnt played the bunch of jokers by retaining mohd kaif the outstanding fielder of our time.Like sehwag whoz been given 100 opportunites to prove himself again kaif atleast should be given 1/4 of it.

bubu
superb team selection
by bubu on Apr 21, 2006 04:49 AM

in our country we very often find that the deserving person is in the backseat and the person who need to be thrown into the dustbin is in the front seat.

though md kaif is in horrible form, still he got another chance, whereas our ex captain who deserve to be in the team is not even considered once in the selection meeting.

rahul dravid may be forgotten that when he was out of indian team and not even consider for the oneday squad ganguly help him to back in the indian team by giving him the wk gloves.

re: Made a mistake
by Kunal Tripathi on Apr 21, 2006 04:13 AM

With Tendulkar out of the team....Saurav should have been called back....

Kiran More thinks he owns the Indian Cricket Team and needs to be reminded that he is only a Selector...and does not have the right to decide the team....

Kalyan Ghosh
Cricket Team to West Indies
by Kalyan Ghosh on Apr 20, 2006 11:37 PM

This is the BCCI cricket team not Indian cricket Team. There are different guidelines for different players for selection. Indian politicians never have any principal and that reflects now in Indian cricket. They can sack anyone without any cause as they sacked three selectors as soon as they won election.
They can back wrong horse for their own sake. I cannot support BCCI cricket team.
Now a days every team have computer video analysis's to find out the week points of every player and then they plan to resist his performance. All experience players changes their style of cricket instantly to counter these plans. But most of the new comers fail to do so. A year to go before next World cup Opponent team management will plan to stop these young players at the right time and then Indians playing for BCCI team will be in such a position that they would not be able to perform to their abilities.
Hence, I am sure that Indians will not be able to reach World cup final.

Selectors are a bunch of Jokers
by Tanmoy on Apr 20, 2006 11:18 PM

SELECTORS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN A BUNCH OF JOKERS. Selecting Kaif over
Saurav. Disgusting. They are all liars with the stink of provincialism and
racism coming straight up.
