U r right Abhishek. But the problem is that selectors of the current indian team is not really ineterested in maintaing a fair process. Thats why they r picking players who r at their worst form of life. Whats the reason of not excluding Sehwag, Kaif and Agarkar. Have they done anything for team in last 10 matches except filling up the numbers. Ask selectors to be fair. Its about our national team. They should be accpuntable for they do.
I think Kapil Da Is right. now its time of Sehwag and kaif to quit team and improve their performance at domestic level and then come back. Its not the matter of Saurav aur Sehwag but its all about Indian Team. The team plan should be same for all Players not for individuals.
Please dont drop any one from the current team. It is not correct. As a team we are playing extremely well. They will regain their power. Stop pin pointing Sehwag and Kaif. Leave the team along. Let the team mgmt, coach and captian decide. The coach is supporting them. And he knows better regarding the strength and weakeness of the players. Let them decide. Let us stop critising and appreciate the team for breaking the world records and winning the series. We want this team to win more matches. All the very best
Though what Kapil suggests is true and should be considered, it is rather ironic coming from Kapil. He should remember that he kept on playing or rather the selectors kept him on the team though he was not performing at the end of his career- more to attain the record of the highest wicket taker.
after iits and iims arjun singh and the congress should consider seriously reserving 50% of the team strength to SC / ST and OBC. This should be brought about in all sports not limiting to cricket alone. They should also consider 50% reservation in the parliament as well.
What Mr. Kapil Dev has suggested is very good. Cricket playing in International level is not a doing practise. We need highly professional players to win each and every match either one day or test with any 'xyz' team.
Any how I wish best of luck for Mr. Shewag and Mr. Kaif
Kapil is absolutely right in what he says. No player should impose himself if he realises that he is out of form. BCCI should also adopt an impartial view and take action withour fear or favour. After it is not the individual that matters but the team and its performance.
