The Aussies are purposely trying to play down this series. They dont want to arouse passions this time.
By playing it low, they have 2 advantages firstly: they will quietly get their job down. secondly if they pretend not to show a high level of interest in this series, then the indians will feel a wee bit bored about it. so we have to be careful about it and take the series very seriously.

we have to make sure they dont conquer the last frontier.

no matter what the aussie coach says, they are here to do just that and we should stop it.

I beleive this is the best time the Indian time should try and break the jinx. The team is not having a good run in recent times and has to make amends to come back. The absence of Ponting and Tendulkar has made it pretty square. We must not forget the resilience shown by Indian team in recent times and hope our boys come out with lot of positives this time.

Australian Cricket team in India

The Australian Cricket team has come this time to conquer the Final Frontier. Gilchrist's prediction of winning the serious in India looks very obvious, as without Tendulkar fully fit, India looks week enough as it was seen in the CHampions Trophy and ICC Trophy, the Indian batting was exposed. Whether Tendulkar is in or out, the very presence of this great cricketer influence the game and the players get motivated by his presence. IT is felt that the team feels handicapped without him, eventhough Dravid and Laxman share the burden of batting. The bowling does not look incisive as it was in the World Cup, barring Pathan the Indian team lacks quality seamers.

ON the other hand, Australia is strong on every field, their batting revolves around Hayden and Langer at the top followed by Martin, Lehman and supported by Gilchrist. No doubt their bowling is one of the best attacks in the history of the game.

So by all probabilities, it looks like Australia bags the Border-Gavaskar Trophy this time.
