blatant remarks rasheed lateef made are delibrately planned,infact pakistanies are chokers,they never won crucial matches againt india in world cup.at least india is formidable at home.pakistan even lost against zimbombwe.ok,i agree for some reasons india is not doing well under sourav leadership in ODI finals.this is not true in tests.even india won the test match facing follow on against mighty australians.india is only team, who chased 300+ more times than any other team.even they pumbled against minows bangladesh.
True Pak's record againts the Aussies is not great,but India's record is not good also. Just winning the recent test does not mean anything great.India have always won against the aussies at home (for that matter against most teams) but India has not won anything away from home in the last decade.
On the other hand, Pak might not have won much at home,but they have definitely won many more away from home.Atleast they manage to pull of series wins against Nzl and Zim in their home countries repectively.

Talking about India Vs Pak. They have always beaten the day-lights out of us on most occasions,be it tests or one-dayers. Its only the world cups that we have beaten them, thats only 4 matches.Else,they have won 22 times more than us in ODI's and have beaten us 4 times more in tests.
Talking about reaching finals.If India reached the WC finals in 03,Pak reached it in 99.If India played well in Aussie this time (not considering a weak 3rd team),Pak have played much better in ODI's in Aussie.The won the 97 C&U series and also a 3-match series against Aussies.Also,pls recollect the wacking which India got in 99 series. Pls think.

Which Team in the world hasen't had its good or bad days. Even australia licked the dust when they came to India in '98. Cricket is a great leveller. So better not talk of Strengths and weaknesses.
As for the Ind V Pak series coming up.. only time will tell so lets wait and watch.
