True he should retire from one-day cricket, if he has to cross 500 test wickets.Like SRINATH RETIRED FROM TEST MATCHES. that is only way to reach 500 plus he needs to play till 2006. LEVE ONE DAYERS AS HE IS NOT QUICK ANYWAY IN ONE DAYERS.
kumble is a great bowler...but warne is far more superior bowler....plss dont say that kumble's average is not as good as warne's b'cos he bowls in pitches suited for batsman....its absurd reasoning..had warne bowled in indian conditions he would have had 600+ wickets by now....warne bowls in conditions that are not suited for spinners..whereas...indian wickets are tailermade for kumble....and sparing the last aussie tour..kumble's record abroad is is preety bad....
