As per the rules of the tournament, we have to beat srilanka. Otherwise even if Bangla lose to bermuda, we cannot enter super 8. Because the first consideration between teams with equal points is head to head and not runrate as written here. Please recheck and write. Don't give illusions that even if we loose match to srilanka, we have chance to make it to super 8 etc..

Dear before write anything, check urself. Incase SL beat India and Bermuda beat Bangal. Now SL is selected for Super 8, to select 2nd team, Bangala beat India, India beat Bermuda and Bermuda beat Bangala. So still we have gud chances for us. But that will not happen. Bangala learnt the lesson from SL sterday. They did lightly sterday match as India did against SL.

Hey Murali It was age old logic you are talking about. That was the case in the previous world cups. Now for this round Net Run Rate is given priority over the Head-to-Head matches

Murali, you are wrong. If bermuda beats bangla, and india loses to lanka, India, Bangla and Bermuda all have 2 points with each beating the other...so net run rate will decide who will go to next stage

Dear Murli, evenif both india n bangla hv same points after completing 1st round, then also as per WC rule 1st they'll consider NRR, if NRR would be same( which is not possible) then only head to head record will come into picture, so pls u get ur facts right 1st.
