Chetan's comments on Dravid are quite correct as he is one of those rare breeds of cricket captains whose own performance have not slumped his record was very good till the Word Cup. He has led by his own example as he has been the main sheet anchor and the saviour for his team on numerous occasions, He is a thinking cricketer and surely the best player in the team, he has shown a lot of maturity and astuteness in dealing with press, He has shown that the captain can still be good and gentle to command respect and bring out the best from the players while the world cup may be an isolated case only where his team particularly his senior colleagues both batsmen and bowlers miserably failed him to his utter helplessness not because he failed in leading the team but for some inexplicable reasons difficult to fathom despite whatever details might have come out.
He is perhaps the only player at this stage desrving to lead the team and bring the team back on rails

yeah i agree wit chetan but as far as dravid is concrnd he is good captain but he should be very aggressive i mean really aggressive in is move, and a spirt, team spirt which is very most important in a game which our captain and team player completely lack....

You are 100% correct. Dravid is the only consistent player in the Indian team. He knows how to play in any conditions. He may not be the best captain but on the other side, no one else performed under his captaincy. Its not his fault that other players are not performing.

dravid is Mahatma gaandhi of Indian team. "He walked alone" as they say to Bapu, so did Dravid. Always performing and not expecting much in return. Ready to play second fiddle if needed. He is a good leader but less tactics. He needs to improve on that.
