Modi will win
by Manoj on Dec 19, 2007 12:26 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Last week CPM leader Karat announced that they will withdraw support to Congress after Guj elections, assuming that Congress will win.

After seeing the exit polls which predicts BJP win, CPM got scared and withdrew the announcement itself !! Because they know that if BJP wins Gujarat, BJP will win next Parliament elections too.

Ya BJP is the only challange to all other hopless political party, If BJP is not there this parties will never ever do wotk, which they might be doing after feeling threat from BJP. Fear in modi's rule, agreed only in the mind of anti indian people, if u love india, no fear..terror..atack as far as i know only one akshardham.. after that he proactively clean terror..ist.. and i also personaly feel proactive approach rather then act after crime.. hope i clear doubts u have..:)

What about that one BJP assembly contestant who was arrested with unlicensed weapons. Why there was no pro- active encounter this time? Oh no a Hindu with unlicensed weapons is a nationalist, a Muslim with similar objects a terrorist, a person from any other religion a Naxal (I am borrowing this from one the messages posted).

In what sense you are talking backwardness. TN and WB are some of the highly literate states and both are highly industrialized states too. Their contribution to nation building cannot be underestimated. By your argument you are saying Gujarat is the only state that has developed and all others are just like some African states. You are wrong. Gujarat has developed because of Gujarati migrations to different parts of the world and sourcing money for its development. Unlike many other states that depend solely on Foreign Investments, Gujarat has double advantage of expat Gujaratis investing as well as some Foreign investments. Go around other states and make comments.

Gujarat also has people below poverty line. Good road does not mean everything is alright. It can also symbolically represent quick road to escape from the scene of brutalities created.

WB was one of the highly industrialized states even before may could think that way. Development does not just mean good roads and infrastructure - it is much more than that. Contribution of Bengal to literature, art, architecture, media etc. cannot be overlooked. In terms of infrastructure it may be poor. Communists are not the closers of factories but they are for the reasons only known to them are not anti West and particularly anti- America even after cold war. And everyone knows it is the West and America that are investing in terms of Industries at this point in time.
