But how long will Modi remain the savior of the Hindu hardliners in Gujarat? If not today, tomorrow or after 5 years, there will be a time when Modi will be no one.
I can tell it very well that the people (read Hindu community) of Gujarat may have blind faith in Modi, but the rest of India does not approve his religious jingoism and do not give two hoot about his Hindutva. He will be defeated in any given state outside Gujarat. He can never be the prime minister because India will not repeat the mistake of selecting BJP at the center.
Indians have learned the lesson of electing a Govt that fuels riots and massacres minority. If Indians have not yet learned it, its time they should or else India will no longer remain a democratic country. Once a proud Indian, I feel like spitting on myself because of these Gerua clad monsters. I feel ashamed that this country that has given us Gandhi, Bhagat Singh, Subhas, Tagore, Tilak, Mother Teresa has also given us Modi, Togadia and their blind followers who are nothing but criminals.
Its a shame that Gujaratis are devoid of their own identity and their identity has become Narendra Modi. Every Gujarati who votes for Modi votes against India. If the neighboring states of India are destroying the unity of India, Modi is doing nothing different. He is as good as (or as worse as) ISI. Modi is a Hindu terrorist who is destroying Gujarat and India, bit by bit. He along with Pakistan are the biggest threat to India and it's people.

Mr. Contractor pls don't feel the shame because good administrator is always hardliner. & history proven that Gandhi never supported the Bhagat Singh, Subhash Chandra Bose. (Same is happening today) Modi could not start the riots, at the same time he was a C M. Pls think about the another aspect of the subject.

Gujaratis support Modi because he is the only leader who stands out today in the state. Other parties are unable to project a leader from Gujarat who can stand as tall as Modi is. I do not agree that all Hindus vote on communal lines. If it was so, Kerala would have had a few MLAs of BJP by now. Even when Babri Masjid issue was at its peak, Hindus did not support BJP in Kerala because they had better alternatives. Modi can not be defeated by 'imported' leaders like Sonia or Rahul. Unless a viable alternative emerges in Gujarat or in Gujarat BJP, Modi will continue.
