please understand
by Rajesh Shastri on Sep 26, 2008 03:17 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Every religion has got good and bad people. Not all Hindus are good, and same can be said about Christians and Muslims.

I don't want to get into an argument, but would like to ask this question; those people who are criticizing all Christians, can you confidently say that you have no dear friend who is a Christian? If you meet someone and find out they are Christian and needs help, would you walk away from them?

Please answer truthfully.

Rajesh Shastri,
Who is criticising ALL Christians? Isn't the argument against conversion of Hindus? Criticism is against Christians engaged in converting poorer Hindus to Christianity through a) promise of jobs, school seats b) rice, milk powder and money and c) brain-washing them with false information on Hinduism.
Of course, we all have Christian friends and in some cases relations.
That does not mean we can be blind to a national movement of conversion of Hindus. Do you know how much money Christian NGOs receive from abroad to help with this conversion business? Take a guess and check with the NGOs themselves. You will be amazed.
Have you read reports of violent riots in Colgne in Germany, against a proposal to built a big mosque in that city?

The Protest in Lahore against building of Church was indeed violent. It was later abandoned.

So by your logic, if one of my close friends is a christian, I turn a blind eye to forcible conversions?

If a muslim is my friend, I turn a blind eye to Islamic terrorism?

i will protest in that case. my question was, would you stop your friendship with ALL christians just because a few of them are bad?

That is the feeling I am getting on this forum.

Mr.Rajesh Shastri, the religions were created for controlling the gullible masses. No religion has ever stopped people from committing crimes. If there are good people belonging to all religions, it has nothing to do with the religion as such. All religions have outlived their utility. Then why the obsession with conversion?
