no offense, but I have not yet seen a rational approach to religion and god (by muslims)... and yet every time, a muslim comes on board, all I hear is "My religion is the only true religion and the only God is allah" and "islam is the only true religion'
what crap is this?
God, if there is one, will not go by a tag which a human gives him... rather it is for our convenience that we name the supreme (for those who believe)
God, if there is one, will not mind a devotee worshipping him in any form...
God, if there is one, would not offer wine and women to those who kill in his name...
After all it is the same God (if there is one) who has created us all...
Every religion is a path to self-realization... the path to know more.. where does killing comes in???

Killing and dyeing is to protect country for tyrant ruler or foreign invaders not for sake of establishing evil ideologies of sharia, only my GOD and religion is superior and all non believers / kafir should be killed. etc
in the same way killing and dieing is to protect relgiion and its followers from infedels who are attacking and killing your fellow religion person. (for example Al-quida attacking america as america is supporting Isreal for its occupation of palestine and killing innocent palestine women and childrens)
fighting for your religion and religion followers is called holy war without expecting anything in return but just to help your brother ..that is called JEHAD .
i think you guys have mis-interpretition of JIHAD and KAFIR.
Kafir is an arabic word for non believers ..its not abuse....
Jihad is not a terrorist activity but a fight for in-justice and evil without expecting anything in return but helping others .....

well if you are intellectual enough to understand my answer then surely i would answer..
it is to bring man-kind together under one roof ...have rules and regulation to live a clean life without any differences...it is to worship the creator not the creation....
it is to keep you in control and different from any other living beings like animals.....a human being will be a human being only if he follows the religion.....
it will give you strength to fight against evil, in-justice....it will give you strength to help the needful ,innocent and helpless.
there are boundaries for your actions ...limits for your desire and needs ...which can be controled only by religion ......
Religion will keep a human being different from an animal.it will make you human ....

core of all religion is same as you mentioned Eagle. Then why so much stress on Islam only. Islam cannot handle these issues and do justice can been seen from failed Islamic countries like Pakistan, Bangladesh, Irag, Suadi Bosnia etc. Believe me humanity without religion is better. As all religion has adopted corrupt practices over the period so religion of humanity is need of time.

HI Eagle Can you tell me what your religion has done to the betterment of society-based on your religion has any scientist invented a cure for a disease,based on your religion has man kind sufferings diminshed in any way- Stop regurgitating what your mullahs say-the world needs proof-hollow rants will not convince any one
do you know how many muslims donate money every year. as per thier religion they have to give FITRA and ZAKATH.
do you know anything about "BAND MUTHI"...a hindi word ..which means ..you should not think or count how much you are donating to others ..you have to do as much as you can ....
do you know that as per ISLAM ..your left hand should not know that how much your right hand has donated ...that means they dont publisize or tell every one how much they are donating .....
ask the previous indian leaders how much donation use to come from middle east.
world has not suffered anything because of ISLAM instead gained manythings ...otherwise the world would have remained like hell ....
do you know how indians use to live before muslims arrived in INDIA ....come to america and see how they live their lives ....its only show off that AMERICA is a better country but its the worst with drug gangs and racial killings ....

Eagle who says charity is only in Islam. Indians do a lot. See all holy places and run charity. Sikh run langer andso on. Christian missionary run so many social service centre. Saudi Islamic money been used to set madrasses in the country who preach hate and in tolerance to other. If it was used for up liftment of Indian Muslims i would have agreed. I think you are product of such a Saudi funded Islamic madrasses.
