Why did Pakistan free this one man?

Pakistan is a country that annihilated 15% of it's own population of Paki Hindus.

Pakistan is a country that slaughtered 3 million (yes thats right 30 lacks) of their own Muslim fellow in Bangladesh and raped countless Bangladeshi women.

Pakistan is a Islamic country (obvious from the two points above).

Freeing this one man will save them from their hellish acts, no, their souls can not be saved at any costs, in this life and the next.

This is irrelevant when the country was divided it was divided into a secular india and islamic pakistan so those hindu staying back knew that islam is the religion of state and then decided. If at that time india was to declare it as hindu state then probably u can point fingers at pakistan
