Why is that all muslims need to join organisations with the word "muslim" in it. Leave your faith for your private use join groups that represent causes and not religions.

Bodhi, go to the link I posted and read the article first before commenting. I think you god the wrong idea. The organization My India was started by some patriotic muslims to take on issues like SIMI in their community. They deserve support from all Indians.
The article talks about this MY India organization confronting the SIMI radicals in their community. We should all support that.

they have to realise that a multi-cultural india of 2008 is better than the 99.9% islamic afghanistan. better for them, better for the ladies of their house, better for the future of their children. the affluence they see in saudi is only because oil is the currency of the world for a few decades, and is not sustainable. ask a woman what she would like, and she will say freedom. so 49% of the women will anyway opt out of a 100% islamic society... but in a male dominated society, she doesnt have a voice. she cant even speak when she is ra p.ed...

How many Muslims have you seen who create problems. In your surrounding are there muslims living?. How many of them you see talking hatred, violence etc or acting rude against you or even looking at you with bad eyes?. Do you see any at all?. I am sure you do not. Kindly do not judge a religion or a community based on the media news or by a act of a handful. Live with them, understand them and then comment.
Understand the wider propganda created by the POWERFUL of the world. And see how they are using innocents to create an atmosphere. See and figure it out yourself what is happening to the States and People who oppose them.
