i too have many ideas abt waste disposal system in our villages...but don't have the courage to go and ACTUALLY do it. I always admire the people who leave behind all the luxuries and go and work where it needs most. PATHETIC ME...

Hello Allen,
Most of us are in the same boat. We want to do something. But dont know what and how. 1% succeed and become Baba Amte.
Also realize that any venture has to be financially viable. Even Baba Amte must have needed funds for the land, beds, medicines for the patients etc. Either have the resources to get grants or private charity or support from a NGO.
I sincrely hope you are in that 1%. I hope I am too!

Allen,
You have 2 good things about you. One, you have a good idea with you that can help the society and two, you are willing to stand up and admit a weakness you have. These in themselves are good enough. Courage should not be an issue. Please do give it a try. I am sure there must be some solution. Maybe you could talk to a few like minded individuals before making your views public. You could pose the views as not yours but somebody else's and see how people react to them. You could try speaking with some honest cop in the area and seek his help to spread awareness of your program. Don't give it up.

Yes.... Try allen... Put an effort to bring down in reality in a smaller scale. You can DO IT....
Real life is full of compromise. It is smarter to juggle your responsiblity and yet achieve what you want to!!!!!
