Thats exactly what my point is. Why should soldiers waste their lives on people like us. Rather than saying great things about it i would analyse the situation and say what is. This whole setup is wrong. Army training should be compulsory. Everyone should spend a few years. No choice. Only then we would be able to understand whats what. Either one should work for an NGO for 2 years or should be in army. Only then our so highly pampered society will change. Writing great things about people dying for nothing is just another lame excuse to pass our guilt.

funny mr. agarwal, we had the same topic in 1995 in my NDA interview in Dehradun. Hmmmm. My take was it should be, but thinking of it, won't have worked as India is a democracy and the constitution gives every individual the right to choose. It also provides guidelines as to what is anti national and there my friend comes the flaw, the politicians. What a pity, we (me included) keep typing away to glory on our ideology but are so weak or meak as to never create a party based on a true idealogy. I wish the movie YUVA (Ajay Devgan story) truly becomes a reality in India

you are bro..democracy definitely comes in the way. But I think there is a solution to that. Even if people are not sent, they must be trained. Every single boy and girl should be trained. That would definitely increase the number. Also you are right we are included in the category of 'do nothing'. Kuch karna hai ye to man karta hai lekin kya ye nahin malum. Hope I dont die in this dilemma. Did you check out 'chak de' song. very inspiring. 'koi to chal zid phadiye, doobe tariye ya mariye'. beautiful.

Chaitanya obviously no one will die for me as great writer sahir says in "man re tu kahe na dheer dhare".."koi na sang mare"..let me give you my peice of advice if other than your parents any one has ever said this to you then probabaly you must watch out. By the way I am sorry about the Somnath Temple. I was watching antakshri and then I had to go to a party to dance on Punjabi numbers and obviously our national anthem 'Brazil'..By the way what were you doing at that point in time. chaitanya world is obviously wrong. Just read the newspaper and you will find which specie rules the world and why world is what it is. I still maintain that we are not worth dying for. These soldiers are wsting their precious lives for people like us who sit and sing praises but when it comes to real work we hide ourselves behind the walls of illusion. Obviously I don't dont need any support for my views because I know what I am talking about.
