for those who think that Army is short of Officers because many people do not want to go there is wrong. To get in toArmy officer shoes you have to prove your self at many tests. Army does not compromise on quality of officers. this is commendable. Do appear for a SSB test to see how tough it is to pass

Yes One of my freind tried hard but due to quality requirement he could not qualify. He was little short of the army requirment.

I was selected in SSB but medically rejected due to bad vision. SSB does a good job of selecting right candidates.
99% people get rejected due to personality issues.
If you are from army background then you have a slight edge but that alone is not enough to get you through.
