I don't understand the logic for a separate state. How des it make any difference? I guess it is to usurp power and divide people on caste and region basis. United, we all can achieve anything. But divided, we become weak. Anyone reading the life of Potti Sriramulu understands the sacrifice the great man has done in achieveing the statehood. Does KCR or any leader who claims to be the torch bearer of Telengana has that Chittasudhi. FYI, Potti Sriramula fasted for more than 50 days and died for the cause. KCR could not fast even for couple of days.
All this is power politics. Please arise, awake and understand how we are getting exploited.
We had few chief ministers and also a Prime Minister from telengana. What have all these people done. Even for that matter, we can brag even on Andhra Development.

You must have correct facts. Check the following observation in wikipedia..His mission was to unite telugu people and not divide by region basis which KCR and other petty politicians are doing... ------------------------
Separate state for Telugu People In an effort to unify the Telugu people, and preserve the unique culture of Andhra and Telugus from the imposed Tamil hegemony on Dravidians at large, he attempted to force the government to listen to public demands for the unification of Andhra based on linguistic lines. He went on a lengthy fast, and only stopped when Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru promised to support unification. However, there was no movement on the issue for a long time. He started fasting again for attaining statehood for Andhra in Maharshi Bulusu Sambamurthy%u2019s house in Madras on 19 October 1952. It started off without fanfare but steadily caught people%u2019s imagination despite the disavowal of the fast by the Andhra Congress committee.
The government of the day however did not make a clear statement about the formation of a new state despite several strikes and demonstrations by Telugu people. On the midnight of 15th December (i.e. early 16 December 1952), Potti Sreeramulu died and laid down his life trying to achieve his objective.

In his death procession, people shouted slogans praising his sacrifice. When the procession reached Mount Road, thousands of people joined and raised slogans hailing Sriramulu. Later, they went into a frenzy and resorted to destruction of public property. The news spread like wildfire and created an uproar among the people in far off places like Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Eluru, Guntur, Tenali, Ongole and Nellore. Seven people were killed in police firing in Anakapalle and Vijayawada. The popular agitation continued for three to four days disrupting normal life in Madras and Andhra regions. On 19 December, the Prime minister of the country Jawaharlal Nehru made an announcement about formation of a separate state.
On 1st October 1953, the state of Andhra was established. On November 1, 1956, Andhra Pradesh was formed with Hyderabad as its capital. Kerala and Karnataka states were formed the same day, followed by Gujarat and Maharashtra in 1960. The formation of linguistic states is the single most important event in the history of South Indian languages, as it provided an opportunity for these languages to develop independently, each of them having a state to support.[1]

Potti Sriramulu's death Potti Sriramulu fasted in the heart of Madras (Chennai) city for over 50 days .Reasons as to why the Rajaji government, Union government led by Nehru or police did not intervene to force feed or shift him to hospital remain unclear. The intentions of Nehru and Rajaji governments to effectively homogenise the cultural and linguistic diversity of Indian union in the name of National Integration have seriously undermined the very federal spirit upon which India's foundation lays [2]. It is interesting to note that only one person before him in modern Indian history Jatin Das actually fasted to death all others either gave up or were arrested and force fed or hospitalised.[3]
[edit] Trivia Observing Potti Sreeramulu's commitment, Mahatma Gandhi once remarked "We can achieve independence within a year if there were another ten people as committed and dedicated as Potti Sreeramulu." House no. 126, Royapettah high road, Mylapore, Madras is the address of the house where Potti Sriramulu died and it has been preserved as a monument of importance by the state government of Andhra Pradesh.

How can anyone takes someone job? If you are good enough for a job, you will get it. There is no relation. We must make the local administrators, MLA and MPs to work hard in providing basic education and provide good governance. Who can stop the best people in achieving the great things. We see that everywhere. If Indians are making mark everywhere in the world, it is their own hardwork or the incompetency of some other people. We cannot be narrow minded. You can never throw people out of a place just because he is not from your state. If that is the case our Metros do not exist. We see diverse background people workingtogether. If we are worried about development, focus on that. Iinstead of focussing energies on petty politics and trying to gain power, let us work together and develop the whole state.
Can anyone put 5 genuine reasons why we cannot achieve by being together.
