With all due respect, Mr. Srinivasan - that column reads a bit delusional!
What that article taught me: How to write a news column - 1. Include a spy story (Is Obama a Manchurian Candidate?) 2. Throw in some unsubstantiated rhetoric (Obama is all sizzle and no substance) 3. Garnish a little hero worship (Clinton's plans have more "workability") 4. Add a few obvious facts (change cannot happen overnight, Saudi petrodollars will not vanish suddenly) 5. End with a totally tangential "crazy talk" (How about Al Gore?)
I mean, you really think the Democratic convention will elect a leader who has not been on the ballot after one of the most evenly contested primaries in recent history? Not to mention the whole "woman against black man" contents which is winning the democratic party some major PR brownie points.
Sorry, Mr. Srinivasan, this article on your personal blog might make for an interesting glance, but on the national portal for a major news outlet for Indians worldwide it reads, as I mentioned before, delusional.
