Why is this article?
by Kumar M on Feb 15, 2008 04:47 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

When I read this, felt amused. IT folks being stressed? Wow. When did this happen. They are the arrogant bunch who think that money is everything. And they show off big time. And the wives of the IT husbands are out of control. Its the IT people who have got the real estate market in Blore out of control. No wonder they are stressed when they think abt EMIs.

I think I understand what you are trying to say but I would have definitely been clearer writing it if I were you.

please understand that IT has been instrumental in shaping India's now booming economy before you utter such nonsense. besides the ones who are making lots of money are working hard for it and not getting it in charity.

An economy cannot be strong and booming unless there is a very strong Manufacturing and Agricultural sector, the sooner we realise this the better for us, it will also reduce the growing divide between the haves and have nots.

I Agree with girish. Once the agri is fully down in india we all will again beg for food and give all the money earned to other countries.

How do you know that he cannot afford a good life style??,lol... and you talk about stupid assumptions

what exactly is good life style to you?, is it just good salary, anyways...... going through this article and the unbelievably intelligent comments I can make out that in India (these days) the only reason a person is respected is depending on how much money he's got, forget morals, forget principles and ofcourse, forget decency.

It is nothing but natural.... Growing individualism and isolation from family is leading to every-man-for-himself kind of an attitude. Money is an obvious fall-back on as it helps people indulge in their interests and make them feel happy and valuable.
It happened in west 50-100 years ago but gradually. Problem with India is that it is happening now and very fast so we don't know how to handle it.
