What's news in this?
by Anointed One on Aug 10, 2008 11:06 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

It is bound to rain in the rainy season. If that does not happen, many times more people will die due to drought. The death toll quickly reaches dozens as there is gross overpopulation.

A cold statement no doubt...but it's not inaccurate. The population explosion saw encroachments upon the city's storm sewers. THAT is the reason why people in Ashok Nagar are being evacuated. Soon we'll see large scale evacuations necessary along the Musi. If you build a house in the path of water, you got to expect your house to be flooded some day or the other.

We can blame it on the government or the corporators or anyone for that matter. but our guy here is right the culprit is the population.

It's sad, but true.
