THE GOD IS REFERRED TO AS PARAMATMA (THE SUPREME SOUL)
its from that supreme soul which our souls are part of, and to whom we merge back after salvation by following good deeds (karma)
Hindus represent the Paramatma as the trinity and worships the trinity or its avatars (rama from vishnu, hanuman from shiva) - so there is no ambiguity or contradictions! AND BELIEVE ME, THAT 1 GOD WOULD NOT HAVE WANTED HIS WORD / MESSAGE TO BE SPREAD BY SWORD AND CALLED NON-BELIEVERS KAFIR (think logically )
i do not want to start a religious debate here as it leads to senseless abuses. - bye
