Dear brother, the actual story of ramayana has been cooked and modified by the brahmins just to built fear in the minds of the people towards god, so that they will fear the supreme soul and follow the right path, that is the reason hindus are 'one who believes in anything and everything if said in the name of god and shall never question its authenticity". Like u too follow the same ritual, by taking the promise in the name of allahs ,u are assumed to be innocent. Today, if one takes mothers promise, that means mother is next to god, so taking her promise, is like killing ur own mother (detrust). Rama, krishna they are all the creators of god,they were extra knowledgable and did so much of good deeds, that it is not wrong if we place them next to god. Today even if Great Lata mangeskar is placed next to god in music, it is no harm, because she is the supremo in music and no one is above her in the whole world, so worshiping her before starting to learn music is not bad idea, as we have not seen god, but we have seen the creator, who has acheived the height in sur and taal through perseverance and hardship. I even dont mind placing my parents next to god, because what they have done for me,is tremendous. And looking back in the history about 2 and 3 wifes's, they were kings(kshatriya's), and had to run their heir,so they could keep more wifes. abinav the stupid as, lord rama was an incarnation of god in human form. he is also hungry, eats, drinks and dumps as you and me. the only thing which seprates u and me from Him is his virtue of his nobility. he came to earth to set an example of a noble life. so tht u can learn from him. god is too busy to come down himself and change the world!!
