This would be the ultimate oxymoron - 'secular Islam'!
This farid patel guy must think everyone's a total idiot when he says Islam requires people to 'rationalise' thier belief in concluding that there's only one god - the Muslim god. In fact, Islam allows no such thing - Islam means to submit, to obey without question - no rationalization allowed or tolerated - you must just obey or else...Only brain-dead dimwits are stupid enough to fall for his 'take' on that religion.

What the hell Secular Islam of Akbar....Was it because Akbar married to hindu process Jodhabai from Rajasthan for that reason? I would have called him secular had he married his own daughter to a Hindu. Did he do that ? then don't call him secular.
Many so called social thinkers praise Akbar for his 'Secular' values. In fact 'secularism' was the garb wore by Akbar to win over the various hindu kings in India. He knew it very well that he cnnnot fight all the time if he need to expand his empire and to have stability to it. So he adapted the so called 'Secularism'.
If he was so secular why did not he make attempt to have atleast one of his children to be a Hindu ?This is all bullshit.
You would find all the praise about the Mughal Emporors in 'Discovery Of India' written by Pandit Nehru

Mr Bodh, Quran invites you to think deeply, ponder, Question and find answers. Here is just one verse from chapter 14:32
It is God Who hath created the heavens and the earth and sendeth down rain from the skies, and with it bringeth out fruits wherewith to feed you; it is He Who hath made the ships subject to you, that they may sail through the sea by His command; and the rivers (also) hath He made subject to you.

And He hath made subject to you the sun and the moon, both diligently pursuing their courses; and the night and the day hath he (also) made subject to you. chapter 14:33
And He giveth you of all that ye ask for. But if ye count the favours of Allah, never will ye be able to number them. Verily, man is given up to injustice and ingratitude. chapter 14:34
