never trust the US
by Prabhu on Sep 03, 2007 12:06 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

The communists may be right or wrong in supporting or not supporting the UPA but, in this whole debate we are missing one vital issue, SIGNING A NUCLEAR AGREEMENT WITH THE US. Always the US and UK behave extremely smart, they will never give you a penny if it is not going to return them a dollar or pound. Falling prey to their bait is what India should avoid. Never trust these US. On one side they officially say Pakistan is the hub of terrorism and on the other they deliver F16s to them. Once they encouraged osama and Taliban and now they are fighting against them. One thing is clear the US has set sight on one valuable resource in India and to control they are trying now to help us with the nuclear technology and materials. By signing and ratifying the agreement we are definitely going to be controlled by them in the future. IMPERIALISM IN MODERN TRENDS

Yes I know that. Also you should know that India needs fuel for nuclear energy for civilian purposes apart from military. We have only 0.8% of Uranium reserve and with this we cannot support our military programs nor civilian programs...na idhar ka, na udhar ka. We have 30% of Plutonium reserves and to make the plutnium reactors go critical we can use the reprocess fuel which is a by-product of the fuel spent for civilian purposes. So if we get nuclear supply, we can use them for civilian purposes and completely use our own uranium for military purposes. Samajh mein aaya aapko Prabhu ji.

I wonder why the Leftists do not come out with an alternative solution rather than just criticising the agreement. The reason is obvious - TINA - There is no alternative.
