Your ideolgical guru can be Narender the idiot not Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose or Jyoti Basu. Left party leaders do not go after post and positions. Their attitude at times harms them too. Jyoti Babu could not become PM due to their ideolgical stand. So you can say that Left party leaders are not opportunist. This allegation may be true but they have no feeling for India is like saying you are a patriotic Indian.

I dont know how 'Narender' came in to picture here. typical mindset of a 'Secular' intellectual of India. The left parties brought SEZ in WB, but they are opposing it in TN. Why? Because, they did not get their due of 'Share' in the deal. They opposed the Nucaler Test of India. But now they are saying that the so-called '123' agreement will compromise on India's right to test Nuclear Weapons. Hypocrites. Comic Commies.
They have not condemned they Bomb Blasts in Hyderabad. Because, they are afraid that they will lose their newly found Muslim Vote Bank in the Old City. Ridiculous.
Now all the Comic Commie Leaders travel in 'Foreign' cars. So where did their 'Swadeshi' Mantra gone? Is it only to preach (to others) and not to be practised (by themselves)? Your Jyoti Babu (!!) could not become PM not due to any ideological stand. He and his lobby tried his level best. But their own comrades from CPI-M and CPI did not allow him to become the PM (eg. Harkishen Singh Surjeet, Bhartan, Yechury and others)
