He worked as a financial consultant in London before returning to India in August 2002, He won a seat in the 2004 parliamentary election from Amethi. He became the second member of the fifth generation of the Nehru-Gandhi family to enter into active politics.
He could become an MP just within 2 years of coming back to India.
Now about Modi, his age about 57 years: During the Indo-Pak war in early sixties, he went to help the soldiers in transit in railway stations. In 1967 he offered voluntary services to the people affected in Narmada Tapti floods. He continued serving the victims of major disasters in various parts of the country in his student and adult life.
Narendra Modi's abilities and leadership qualities were seen in the early days of his student life when he became the student leader of Akhil Bhartiya Vidhyarthi Parishad (All India Students Council). He played a prominent role in the anticorruption movement in 1974 in Gujarat.
He entered active politics in 1987 by joining the Bharatiya Janata Party. He took over as the Chief Minister of Gujarat on 7th October 2001 and about 14 years after entering active politics.

Just answer me. Can a hindu not have a conscience? Can a Hindu not speak for justice and against injustice? If I do so, does it make me a muslim? As soon as I talk against Modi/injustice, people assume that I am a muslim. Has conscience died in Hindus so much, that people here cannot believe that a Hindu can be JUST and talk against Nathuram Modi, the butcher and low street mafia don, and the ugly stray rabid DOG?

No hindus didn't loose their conscience. They only have problem with those so called hindus, who can not see beyond Gujarat. Can you, so called hindu open your eyes and see what is happening in Kashmir, Nandigram, Kanpur etc.
