This will definitely send the wrong signal down the line of a disciplined uniformed force. Also, the open backing and sympathy for Sanjay Dutt of Union Minister Das Munshi and State Minister Baba Sidduqui is unfortunate. Ministers should make responsible public statements.

After UPA govt., took over, they have withdrawn TADA, POTA etc., for the purpose of giving loopholes in the legal system so that favoured 'criminals' get away with the harsh punishments under the stricter laws in force. The increase in terrorist activities across the country is an indication of how criminals and anti nationals are emboldened by repeal of TADA, POTA. After every terrorist attacks, the PM gives out a statement as a routine that terrororists will be dealt with sternly but nobody is caught and the attacks are forgotten. The real anto nationals are now uling the country and terorists are safe in India till UPA rules.
